a treasure of Albany. all of the volunteers at the historical carousel and museum were great. if you're visiting the area of the world would definitely just recommend some pictures or take a quick ride.
Delightful place to visit. The carousel animals are amazing, just beautiful! The museum is pristine, volunteers continuously cleaning. Lovely gift shop and snack bar.
Learned a lot about carousels and how they are made. Cute gift shop all ran by volunteers in the community and they were all very nice and informative. Highly recommend you check this place out if your in the area.

This was a great stop! The carousel was beautiful and in the back of the gift shop you can see part of the Painting and Carving Studio where they make the animals for the carousel. My kiddos are older but really enjoyed this stop as well.
A cool place to visit and ride the carousel. Great story on how it came to be in this town. Animals are beautiful handcarved masterpieces. I was disappointed the ring machine was not in operation due to covid I am guessing. Staff are all volunteers and so friendly.
We had a birthday party for my granddaughter there. The staff was so wonderful! They were all friendly and helped to make our experience very enjoyable.
