I really enjoyed playing here. We were out to Jasper to play there and figured we would try it on the trip back. We'll worth it. They have a great special starting in September as well. Course is very fun to play and some good views. Nice proshop with lots of good branded items. Only issue I had was the bunkers were basically all rocks or under repair. But just don't hit it in them and it won't affect you.
We had our wedding here and had the best time. Tanya, the events person, was attentive, accommodating, thoughtful, and just generally amazing. The bartenders and food were both excellent and the course and banquet hall were both beautiful. They went above and beyond and I would recommend this as a reception venue to anyone.
We held an event at this facility for 50 people. We found the staff to be very organized and professional. The venue was perfect for our function and the food quality was high. I would not hesitate to recommend. Thank-you to Tanya and the rest of the team at the Hinton Golf club.
We had our wedding here in May, the staff was wonderful and the day turned out perfectly. The view was amazing and the food was delicious. Tanya Bernier was a huge help every step of the way.
Stopped for a quick lunch on our way through town as we try to support small businesses as we travel instead of chains. Good service, decent food and nice views. The road up to the club house is a little rough didn't bother us as we are used to poor roads and have a big truck.
Fun track in Hinton. Worth playing if your passing through or in Hinton for the day.
Course was amazing. Good condition. The food was great the first day there. Unfortunately the second day had cold food served to us. Other then that great service and friendly staff
Course was very wet. Lots of challenging holes because it is so hilly! One fairway looked like ski moguls. I've never seen a course designed with this many hills and troughs. Overall though it was fun to play. Glad we rode though.
The course is amazing. I hired clubs!! I wanted to take them home great game.
I did the 9 holes closest to the road on 6/10/20 with a buddy. Neither of us had golfed in years. Setting up the tee time online was so simple.our tee time was 9am. We drove from jasperand barley made it. The parking is easy and not too far from the clubhouse. The pro shop staff were very nice and answered any questions we had. They easily get a 10 out of 10. I rented a set of clubs as I didn't bring mine. The course clubs are a nice set of taylormade Sims. I'm an odd size arm length for my hight but they fit nicely enough. Better than some of the more inclusive clubs I've played at over the years. Almost made me want to buy a set. They included everything you would want minus a sand wedge, but there are not many bunkers on the 9 we played so it want an issue at all. The first hole is a nice 375 yard par 3. The fairway was a bit on the rough side but 100% playable. The greens were in good shape. There was a weekly lady's day going on and my partner and I are a bit rusty so we let them skip ahead and play through. Very friendly people and they set the tone for the rest of the people we met on the course. All lovely members. If you become a regular and get to meet any of them you will be pleased. The rest of the holes followed suit of the first. Some had nicer fairways and some had nicer greens. All of them on par with any local public course. The clubhouse restaurant was having a burger special so we sat down and had a bite afterwards. It's the type of place you can hang out and have a few drinks in a nice atmosphere.a rustic cabin style building overlooking the 18th green and driving range.the bartender was spot on friendly.we rented a cart aswell and felt comfortable the while time even though a few of the paths feel more like atv atv tr. Just adds to the excitement of the game though in my opinion.if I played more than a couple times a year I would not hesitate to get a membership. Because if covid they were taking extra precisions for cleanliness for guest safety and we were happy to see that. If you are in the area you can not go wrong spending a few hours on this course.
