I’m writing this review with respect and concern as a regular visitor of the temple. Temples are meant to be peaceful and sacred spaces where people come to pray, reflect, and seek spiritual connection. Unfortunately, my recent experiences at the Hindu Society Temple have been disappointing.nnThe Pandit ji is often seen using his phone or wearing AirPods even while people are meditating and sitting quietly.This is quite distracting and goes against the big signs posted inside the temple clearly stating: “Silence Please. No Cellphones.” It’s upsetting to see those rules not being followed by the very people responsible for maintaining the sanctity of the space.nnOn Monday, July 14th, the first day of the holy Savan month, I visited the temple to seek blessings. To my surprise, there were a group of government representatives or public officials possibly MPs or MLAs standing in the middle of the temple, loudly laughing and talking. It felt more like a social gathering than a place of worship. This kind of behavior is highly inappropriate in a temple setting.nnI strongly feel that the management needs to take these matters seriously. Either changes should be made, or appropriate actions must be taken to ensure that the temple remains a respectful, calm, and spiritual place for all devotees.nnI hope this feedback helps bring some much-needed attention and improvement.
હર હર મહાદેવnnMandir is too good. Clean and blissful. But pandit ji is too much headache.he is very rude. He was always like don't do this, don't touch this, don't put lots of things on Shivaji every time he is taunting and taunting. I donated wheat flour in the Mandir Pandit Ji threw that container in the dustbin he was telling the old lady to throw that container mentioning it isn't sweet. Please administration tell Pandit Ji the whole world is lost and tired and we are coming to meet God to get some calmness. And one more thing if Mandir gets open earlier, it will be wonderful!
Loved it. No parking problem. Looks professionally maintained. Helping staff and volunteers. Nice walking trails in the back just out of the temple property.
I have been coming here as a child but my experience now as an adult is much different.nnStaff is all changed, and mostly rude and uncaring behaviour of pandit.nnToday was the last sawan somvar August 4th, 2025 and I had to hold back tears because I got yelled at to hurry up… this felt so hurtful in front of so many people and this is a holy place you shouldn’t be yelling at anyone to “hurry up”nVery disappointed and hurt.nnSecondly I’m not sure why they don’t open earlier on special days and keep it open all day? It’s common in other province mandirs to open early and during all day for special days.
Very nice and peaceful place to visit. I like the location it’s very close from many hotels and convenient who lives far from city and visited couple of times of the year. They have many parking spots and the management people are very polite and helpful.nThe place is spacious,clean and neat.nDefinitely recommended!
