I did my g3 co-op course with Dave. He is a great teacher. Very knowledgeable, easy to get along with. The program is awesome for people who want to get their licenses. What you learn in class, you can apply it in the field the next day. Hi mark is a great school.
Amazing experience at this school. Currently enrolled in a G3/G2 Coop Gas program at HiMark with Dave as my instructor. Hands down the best teacher I've ever had the pleasure of learning from. The incorporation of a coop placement into the program really helps with gaining experience in the field. I can confidently say that once I finish my studies, I'll be ready for this trade no doubt.
Took G3 and G2 back to back at Himark in Ottawa with Dave. He is extremely knowledgeable about the trade and an amazing teacher. The course was fast paced and went over everything you could possibly need to know and more. I highly recommend to anyone seeking career development in the hvac industry to explore this route.
Did my g3 and g2 course here. All teachers are very friendly, they have been very helpful and want to see you succeed.nCant recommend this school enough for anything gas related.
HiMark is a great place to take your G3/2 course. I have Dave and he's an absolute gem, he's quite good at taking large chunks of information, often written in legal terms, and widdling it down to something easily digestible for students to understand. The lab is also plenty large with many appliances to learn from.nnThe only negatives I have to mention is that the website and the pre course onboarding isn't necessarily the most accurate. Prior to starting the course, I was emailed several times telling me that if I didn't have all of the tools on the toolist set out by the school including a $300+ manometer you could face being dropped from the course. Not a single person in my class has bought a manometer other than those who bought the optional tool kit and I've been advised by people in the industry to not buy for a little while. I also felt like the website didn't explain the co-op portion of the program well either but, the school does a really good job finding everyone co-op placements if you hadn't found one beforehand.
