Situated in the heart of Welland, this gem of a restaurant captivated my senses from the moment I entered. The vegetarian noodles were nothing short of perfection — springy, flavorful, and adorned with the freshest of veggies. The spring rolls? Crispy on the outside, bursting with succulent fillings on the inside. And the fried rice? A harmonious blend of grains, seasonings, and vegetables that tantalizingly danced on my palate. For anyone in search of the quintessential Indo-Chinese culinary experience in Ontario, Himalayan Hakka should unquestionably be your next stop. Vegetarian options: They have the most amazing vegetarian indo chinese food in all of Ontario! Parking: There is a huge parking space across the restaurant! Kid-friendliness: It’s very friendly for kids!
The food is always so good when my boyfriend and I go, I’ve had their thali multiple times and my boyfriend loves their chicken momo and chilly chicken momo. Their mango lassi taste just like how it does in India. And the owner is also so sweet and welcoming.
Went last Saturday and was very impressed. I was surprised to find quality this good in Welland, as we were visiting from Toronto. The owner is very kind and has done an amazing job at the interior design of the restaurant. It feels very quaint and relaxing. The food was delicious and the portions were quite generous. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a Hakka experience in the Niagara Region.

Amazing food, nothing but kind things to say about the owners. The food is not as spicy as first led to believe, and everything works together really well. The cohesion in these dishes is astounding. We found them at the Welland Farmers market and came for their buffet. Atmosphere and customer service were top notch. Try their Sunday buffet! Well be back.
Food - 4/5 Service - 5/5 Ambiance - 3/5 Price - Mid-range Ordered Butter chicken momos comes steamed, chicken chilli momos fried, Mango Lassi, chicken wrap, and veggie spring rolls. Food was great, and lassi was okay. The service was par great. It was closing at 11, and we reached almost at 10.50 . The lady was happy to serve us, that too dine in. Hats off to the service. Would definitely come back whenever in town. Must visit when in Welland.
Super friendly waitress/owner, comfy atmosphere, and fresh and delicious food! All the flavours are so different and complex, you will enjoy every moment of your time spent here. The kids loved it, and had thirds even, and are asking to come back before even leaving the restaurant!
We had the veggie momo platter, the butter paneer thali, and the lamb vindaloo thali. Everything was absolutely delicious! We didn't get the name of our server but she was so friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back. If you love Himalayan / Indian food then you have to eat here. Vegetarian options: There are tons of vegetarian options on the menu.
