Hot tub out of order. This data should be posted in BOLD so you can make a choice before booking. And if pool is unheated, the pool temperature should be posted.nnDesk clerk at front desk when we arrived was less than “Wisconsin friendly”.nnSelecting our room on the app and electronic door unlock from phone worked flawlessly. We were impressed by the renovated room.nnEngineers forgot to vent the refrigerator compartment. When you open the cabinet door, you get blasted with heat.nnWe were offered 3pm late checkout for $20 on booking, but when we tried to upgrade after arriving, the clerk said that was never an option at this hotel.nnFlatware spoons, forks, knives not offered with purchases from the pantry think how to eat the ice cream you just bought.nnRoom rate was a great value around the holidays. Apparently not so much so when there are popular events in the area.nnDriveway entrance poorly marked.nnPhone in room did not work tried calling front desk.
Maria is an excellent front desk, she was so helpful and nice, even she has the late shift.nMy room wasn't well clean.nIt was really comfy and a king of a mini city view.nThe hot tub wasn't working but they had option going to another hotel, still kind of difficult cause I didn't have the time to go.
I've spent weeks at this hotel over the last couple years. The rooms themselves are fairly nice and well laid out, but I find the pillows unsupportive and sometimes have difficulty sleeping here. They have an excellent mini market in the lobby and a pretty decent little bar as well. Breakfast is always good and they have very attentive servers. One of the nicest things is the location, there are many restaurants and quite a few stores within walking distance.
Spacious hotel with plenty of rooms and well-equipped conference spaces. The fitness center is a good size, and the large pool and hot tub are perfect for relaxation. Excellent kitchen and bar, and the service is truly top-notch! PS hot tub is under construction but pool is open
I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Middleton/Madison West on December 16th, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.nnWhen I ordered dinner at the bar, I was looking forward to enjoying some chicken tenders and fries in my room. However, after ordering they were out of fries. The bartender kindly offered me cheese curds instead, but then returned to inform me that they were also out of chicken tenders. I was offered chicken wings, but my anticipation was already dampened. To top it off, when my food arrived, there were no bags available for me to carry it back to my room—a frustrating inconvenience.nnThe following morning, I encountered another issue when I found myself stuck in my hotel room. After calling the front desk for assistance, maintenance was sent to help me. Eventually the door open but maintenance informed me that there was a problem with the door's hinge. This raised concern about safety, as I wondered how I would have fared in an emergency situation.nnHowever, the most distressing part of my stay came when I went to my car later that day. I discovered that my rear passenger window had been smashed, and my belongings had been stolen. When I reported this to the front desk, I was disappointed to learn that there were no security cameras outside the building to help with the investigation. The staff did not take down my information in case my stolen items were recovered. I had to call later to leave that information. To add to my dismay, I found out from the police that this was not an isolated incident; another guest had experienced a similar break-in earlier that week.nnGiven my experience, I would strongly advise caution if you are considering staying at this hotel. While the amenities seemed promising, the lack of adequate safety measures and the issues with service left a negative impression that overshadowed my stay. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and improves their safety and service standards for future guests.
