My mother was offered a bed 4 weeks ago. From the first phone call from Lindsey to our intake with Kelly, the ward clerk, and Kate, the Lead nurse, we were extraordinarily pleased with the care our mother received from the start. Other staff including Erlinda, Terry, Courtney, Tanya and Ken among the support staff we have met so far, have been warm and caring to our elderly mom and we are genuinely grateful.nOutside grounds need work…first impression is not great as the gardens have been let go. Amy has done a good job of placing containers of flowers around the small outside sitting are. While it is a small LTC home and not the most modern but the care is the best and that is our priority.
Our mother was at hilltop for 30 months before she passed away.nWe visited very often as we are a large family of 9 siblings, plus in-laws,ngrand and great grand children. We all found the staff to be exceptionalnfrom top to bottom and in between. Everyone from the owners to the medical staff to the kitchen staff to the cleaning staff to the admin staff know the names of all residents and acknowledge them constantly.nSince the home only has 60 beds, it is small and intimate. The food is made on sight, so it is hot and good. Always daily activities going on.nIt is an older facility but very comfortable and very clean. Large well kept grounds also.nOur family was always made to feel welcome at all times. Great sense of humour all around, lots of laughs.nWould highly recommend this home for your loved ones.
They try but avoid if your loved one has multiple health issues their medications that supposivly given and dates varys greatly from the actual written medication and treatment log you receive after patient passes
