The Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association (HSCA) serves the communities of Hillhurst and Sunnyside in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. #yyc #calgary

Story

Official Facebook page for the Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association.

We are the Community Centre and Association for the Communities of Hillhurst and Sunnyside in Central North West Calgary. Located just across the river from the downtown core, we offer child care, outreach and seniors' programming and services.

We also act as a rental facility for community, public and private events, including weddings, conferences, sports and arts classes, dances, and much more.

We operate the Bowview Outdoor Swimming Pool, a weekly Farmers' Market (Wednesday) and Tennis Courts during the summer.

We are home to the city's most popular Sunday flea market each week, and have over 70 vendors!

Our Antique Markets (bi-monthly) and Winter Farmers' Markets (monthly) are also terrific opportunities to shop and socialize with members of the community.

Veggies, breads, treats, cooked food, honey, beer/cider/moonshine and handmade gifts from Calgary and surrounds, plus a little BC fruit. Nice folks. Great park and playground next door for picnics.
Well organized, nice variety, well spaced. I think there needs to be a couple of arrows on the floor as some people missed the one way sign at the entrance.
Saturdays, 11:30 to 4:00pm is the Hillhurst winter Farmers Market. I would estimate there are 40 +produce & misc. vendors. It's well attended by the locals and people passing by, attracted by the signage.
We have been attending the market weekly. The produce is delicious and flavor. Nice to support local growers. Love the mason jar flowers!!! Also excellent fresh eggs. The mushrooms deserve a special mention as they are the best from BC. The chanterelles from Saskatchewan are to die for!!!

The Vendors and the products they make and sell are fantastic. Keep it up.
Fantastic local producers with lots of fresh produce and prepared items. The vendors change periodically but the offerings are always high quality. The organizers take COVID measures very seriously and provide sanitizer, instructions and support if needed.
Love shopping at the wide variety of vendors. Everyone being safe and COVID secure
This is a legit, for real local community market, but with a big, bold selection and vibe. Want traditionally brewed locally made fruit ciders? They're here. Want hard to find delicacies like Morel and Oyster mushrooms or fiddleheads? They're here. And that's just the start. Check them out!
