Wow,was I impressed!! The first company I called did not have an hourly rate. It was $69.00 to come out and then the price is buy the job. Hard to get an idea how much the job will cost until the guy comes over. Cynthia the receptionist told me Hill charges $85. an hour and $21.50 for every 1/4 hour. Ok now I have an idea what it might cost. I new the job wouldn’t take over 2 hours. Ben the electrician took exactly 1and 1/4 hours. Did a great job. When Cynthia called later to settle the bill,she said it was just over1 hour but i’ll call let one hour!!! A company charging less time than it took! I almost fell of my chair. Hill is who I am calling in the future. Nice to deal with a honest company. 😎

Great!!! they showed up on Friday afternoon after working hours got everything done to my satisfaction and then some ! Technician was very polite knowledgeable professional! Office personal were awesome called and kept in touch! Very nice experience!

Had a difficult situation where some data cabling needed to be run in a tight crawlspace. Hill Electric was able to schedule a visit for same-day and their guys handled the job with ease. Very happy with the quality of work and timely turnaround. Thanks!

I would recommend to use this company when you have an emergency and need someone to come fast. However, I would not recommend them for jobs that are not urgent. We needed to replace ballast in the mud room. I was happy with the scheduling and we received an appointment fast. I told them ahead of time what needs to be replaced and ask that an electrician bring ballast with him. However, instead of taking 15 minutes, the replacement took 1.5 hours! We were also charged twice for the parts relative to the Home Depot prices. When I asked the electrician how much the parts cost, he said that he does not know the prices, but they are relatively cheap. He also did not have ballasts with him and needed to wait until they were brought from the warehouse. Overall, they sent us a bill of $260. If you think it is reasonable, go ahead and work with them. Besides, the price and the time it took, the work has been done to our satisfaction. If it is not an urgent order, I bet you can find a better company in the Madison area.

Buyer be aware. Overpriced. Same track heads with identical technical specification $85 vs $12.99 online. Sadly nobody cares about customer any longer. Commercial jobs included.
