For the first time we went to music in Plymouth at the Hilde Event Center last night. We had seats that were reserved by my niece in law and so we had plenty of room once we got there late. The Minnesota Orchestra was wonderful and very entertaining There was a special dedication by Zoom for the developer of this venue. The Master of Ceremonies had everyone take out their phones and put it on flashlight mode and Mr. Hilde could see that. Then the whole crowd sang happy birthday to him. Then the main event started. These fireworks were the best that I have ever seen and that is saying a lot. Everyone turned their chairs around so they could get a good view of the fireworks that were over our left shoulder when we were viewing the Orchestra. The soundtrack was pop music starting in the '70s and going through the 2010s. They must have shot off thousands of fireworks. Best show ever! In addition to the orchestra and the fireworks there were food trucks and people brought their lawn chairs and it was truly comfortable. People also brought a lot of dogs which I was surprised at. The whole thing was truly excellent!
Nice park/concert venue, but completely lacks parking and does not have facilities other than port-a-potties. Could really use a restroom/baby changing area to fully utilize the space.
Saw Gary Clark Jr. and Cold War Kids earlier this summer. Great setup, easy to find a comfortable spot on the lawn and the sound was surprisingly good for a venue like this. They’ll need to find a solution to the insane food and drink lines though… my only complaint. I’ll definitely go back though!
Absolutely a fantastic space for any type of large event. The bandshell has great acoustics and it's a gorgeous venue. Music in Plymouth for the 4th was super fun, but there were LOTS of people, and finding a spot to watch fireworks that wasn't blocked by trees was very difficult.
Went here for the Music in Plymouth event in early July. The entire experience was incredibly enjoyable and I will definitely be coming back next year!
I have always loved this performance center/park, and it seems to get better and better over the years. It's a great place to relax, contemplate, read, listen to music, etc. It's stunning during the Fall Season.
Very nice outdoor amphitheater with plentiful space on nice grass to sit in the park and enjoy music outside. Good accoustics and lighting for outdoors. There is also a smaller performance area in the back of the park in front of the gardens and fountain. They have a nice little patio with tables and chairs overlooking the pond as well still within the amphitheater area so you can enjoy a picnic and music in the park while overlooking the pond.
Great place to watch music in the park and many other festivities! The amphitheater is very nice and provides a great stage to enjoy some music. It’s very clean and even has a fountain! Plenary of benches for resting and paths to walk on. The Plymouth creek park is very close as well as the gardens just down the wood chip trail.
Went to Hope Fest it was an amazing day of music and some food and a few interesting booths and vendors. They really worked hard to put this thing on and all the artists acknowledged them for that as well. Great venue great day thank you
Great music venue! I saw Kelsea Ballerini and The Band Perry here and it was amazing! Bring a lawn chair if you do not want to stand the whole time as they do not have any seating. There were food trucks and beer tents that were fair price.
