The daily soup special offered exceptional value. Its rich flavors and hearty texture were truly satisfying. The London fog drink was also a delightful complement. However, timely service is crucial for customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, there was an unforeseen delay in receiving the order. This impacted the overall dining experience. Improvements in order fulfillment speed are recommended. Addressing this issue will enhance customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
I came here because I was working across the street at the Plaza theatre for the Calgary international film festival. I was with a couple of others in between us. We ordered a little bit of food and some beverages. I got the soup of the day, which was butter chicken And a cappuccino.nnThis soup was tasty and I won’t elaborate anymore on that. I’m not really here to judge the quality of an Indian dish at a café.nnWhen I sip my cappuccino, there was a very strange taste that I couldn’t quite put my finger on. They have a banana flavoured coffee drink, and I was accidentally given one of those. As soon as I mentioned it, they made me a new one without any hesitation and it was fantastic. The staff were absolutely lovely there. Will definitely be back to check out some of the live music Friday night!
Excellent ambience, such a wonderful cafe & indoor seating space. Very good coffee. A wide selection of food & baked goods here. Lovely vibe. Great neighborhood too. Stop by to spend some good time here.
One of my favourite coffee shops in Calgary. I've been coming here for over 25 years, so it holds a lot of memories for me. Lots of dates, friend catch ups, reading, studying etc...nGreat variety of coffee and food to keep you going for a long time if need be, and assortment of seating. I love the seats by the fireplace, and/or by the bay window, but those are hard to come by. Banana magic is my go-to. Love this place!!!
This is a great place to go and get a great tasting coffee or even a craft beer. Their coffees are awesome hot or cold. Food is pre-made sandwiches but are very good. Worth the stop if your in the area. Great in the winter to warm up or rhe summer to cool down with one of their iced coffees.
