The coffee itself was outstanding – smooth, bold, and perfectly balanced.It's rare to find a place where both the quality of the coffee and the kindness of the staff make you want to return. A true gem for anyone seeking a moment of calm and delicious coffee!
First time coming here and it was quite busy on a Sunday afternoon, so I took my order to go. I had the chicken sandwich and YYC Nanimo hot chocolate both were extremely good.
Higher grounds is an atmospheric, hipster coffee shop in the heart of the neighbourhood Kensington. I appreciate how unique the inside of the building is. It has a fire place with comfy chairs, cute nooks at the window, and lots of artwork. The food is great, sometimes a bit heavy. Drinks are lovely. Service is good, unless it is really busy. Staff seem to get stressed out.
