Fish and chips at an affordable price compared to other options in the area - which is surprisingly as it’s inside a touristy location. Poutine is delicious and no frills fish and chips. Would love to have some house made tartar sauce rather than the flavourless, packaged ones!
Hey! Honestly not bad food. Bit of "tourist tax" but nothing crazy. Pictured is the "rocks burger" with two patties, mushroom, cheese, bacon, onion, and multigrain bun for 14 bucks. Not exorbitant, but also not the cheapest ever. View's nice, staff friendly, facilities sanitized and clean. Couldn't have asked for better at a tourist location.
Fresh fries! Little expensive due to tourist place but not crazy. Not much vegetarian options, just could find fries and basic veggie wrap. Would appreciate if they can introduce vegetarian options to make it more inclusive View's friendly staff , facilities sanitized and clean. Not crowded due to vaccine passport requirement.
The staff was super friendly and the price reasonable. We order a burger photo that was delicious and it didn't take too long to get ready or eaten
Loved the food here! And for a reasonable price, will get super busy during a nice dayFood: 5/5
I visited during the "Country Christmas" season. Beautiful location. I love the big windows with that amazing view. Had coffee. Super friendly staff and fast service. The dining area is huge and washrooms available. Not too far for the other activities available in this park. And the best place for relaxing local food experience for sure. Parking available at the park. Everyone Need entrance ticket during the season. "Christmas in the country" Was a special function and the entrance was free of charge.
Food was very nice. Ordered lobster sandwich and rice. I was unsure about the rice but it turned out very flavorful and had corn, black beans and a nice spice to it. The sandwich was good and came with a giant pickle. The service was quick and the restaurant is conveniently located near the Hopewell rocks beach floor 15 minute walk. The servers were friendly.
We visited on a weekday, but there were still tons of people visiting the park. After the low tide, at around 12-2pm, there were a ton of people flooding into the restaurant. There was a very long line up, and we waited about 20 minutes to place our order. A couple menu items were also sold out. Once we ordered, we were told it would be a 45-60 minute wait— we waited about an hour for our pager to go off. Other than the wait, the restaurant is great. The employees did their best to keep up with the lunch rush, and periodically went into the line, warning people of the long wait. The food was also great. Local ingredients cooked fresh for you— the burgers we ordered were hot and ready— pretty well seasoned and cooked. Overall pretty good choice if you want a lunch in the park… only if you have time though.!
Fries are delicious, however limited options as they were missing ingredients to make all the items on the menu. Quite expensive for the portion recieved. The seafood poutine 19$ had very little seafood in it. Mozzarella stick 12$ for 5 sticks were very cheesy and filled! Haddock Burger 15$ was very crispy and delicious. Kid-friendliness: Playground right next to the restaurant! Parking: Lots of parking spots,
I was at the park today and was I pleasantly surprised. while waiting for the tide to change the scenery, I figured I’ll grab an over priced mediocre sandwich in the tourist trap restaurant. Looking at the menu I noticed the fish chowder was advertised as “with dill”, I’m a retired hotel chef with professional training and I know you don’t buy fish chowder with dill, so I asked. Turns out freshly made there and it was really good. Encouraged I also had a hamburger and fries, items I generally shun and again the was taken aback by how good it was. The prices were more than reasonable and when you factor in that it was actually really good food, it’s a bargain. Each and every member of the staff was remarkable. Remember, I have been in catering 45 years plus and this is the first time I would actually recommend a place. Three weeks travelling the eastern coast and this, what I thought was a tourist trap turns out to be the best place so far, oh yeah, the rocks are pretty too! Go to this park, GO HUNGRY and enjoy
