Worst hospital ever, I was sitting in the room with extreme pain for 9 hours had to rip out the IV myself. I asked for help so many times and all I could hear was them talking about their personal lives doing nothing, I asked the lady to get out of there when she couldn’t get a blood pressure and she just ran out the room and didn’t come back, they poked both arms a few times cause they couldn’t find a vain I have bruises all over because of this, no pain medication for the torture as well. Don’t go here if u are in pain, I’d rather suffer and die in my own bed

We will not bother with the wooly mamoth in the room that has 1950's plumbing. I am sure we all expect a beautiful brand new building in 2016 but one that will be short-staffed by doctors and nurse alike. Well of course kitchen staff, maintenance, administration, Security and of course the wonderful ladies I love to listen to sing quietly while they wipe down the messes that the more sedentary patients can't help creating. Not me of course, I was just .... well we're moving on. The Lpn's, RN's are the Frontline defense for those of us who have had to be seconded inside the current facility. The majority have a neutral view of the patient which they should have rather than treating them with disrepect. There are a few nurses that have more muscles but less brains than myself that tried to intimidating me into doing things their way but I am a bit stubborn. i am not a drugged out narcotic freak. At first I was intimidated and took less pills than I was directed to but I suffered and told HIM "no" that's between myself and my Dr. not your responsibility. Then there are the FEW who are just darlings who not only do a fantastic professional job but also improve your morale which helps recovery immensly. Which i do attribute my soeedy recover and good outlookbto and had it not been for the THREE amazing ones I encountered during my 6 week stay I would have been depressed the whole time. They had seen me vulnerable, crying, with a full pair of underwear, naked in the tub washing me. But through all those this that should have been humiliating, emasculating, or just plain awkward.... they did their jobs... AND not just that, they did them in ways to make me comfortable feeling not awkward in the least. this is definitely not to say the rest of the nurses are good at their job at all. I know for a fact they do. Even the ones who seem harsh and not friendly know what to do and how to respect you. Please finish the new hospital and move over just the neutral and great nurses.
