I’ve been here 2 times before and the course was alright. Not this time. I came on a Monday morning because I was told they had A special for $30 18 with a cart. I went up there and they tried to charge me $49. The course is in horrible condition. Everything is brown, the greens are in horrendous shape. This course now rivals as one of the worst in the valley.
Front nine is honestly too difficult. Tight fairways, unforgiving to say the least. Greens are insanely small. Back nine was much better. Course was in pretty good shape, only a few tee boxes that were terrible. Greens are smooth and run true. Bar was great as well! Great staff!
Just stopped by the parking lot on the way outside of the park to look at some awesome wheels.
Fun find, a good place to catch the sunset. $8 for day, they take cards
Very nice facilities and the food was great! We had a luncheon in the lower banquet room following a funeral service. Katie and Jeff were so friendly and accommodating to all of our requests.
Course has really gone downhill from last year. I golfed yesterday and $32 for 9 holes n cart is a rip off. Hole 1s green was horrible, divots everywhere, bare patches everywhere 3-4" around, hole 2s green was blackish fill dirt on the exterior of the green on the near side no fringe, the fairways had more dirt and hard spots than grass. 3 wasn't terrible, 4s teebox looked like it hadn't been maintained in weeks with all the club marks, made it hard to find a decent spot to tee off from. 5 and 6 had terrible fairways with tons of bare spots and dirt. 7s hole placement was super hard but that's only because there was a 7' around DIRT PATCH IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GREEN!! 8 and 9 were the only decent holes but by then we were so disappointed that we just wanted to be done and leave. I talked up this course to the 2 guys that I golfed with that had never been there n told them how awesome of a course it was n how it's in my top 3 in the area based off of last year's golfing. I had to apologize to them after the round because it was that bad. I'm very disappointed a once gorgeous course that was one of my favorites has fallen to the likes of Eagle Links, I don't think I'll be back until I hear from a golfer that it's turned back around.
I absolutely love this course. The place is beautiful and just has a good feel to it. The employees have never been anything but helpful and polite. They do a great job! Maybe too great because it's been harder to get tee times. The business High Cliff gets is well deserved!
We were worried when the event coordinator quit 3 months before our wedding, but there was no need. The new coordinator, took care of everything and made sure to answer all my questions. We were he first couple to have the ceremony inside due to the weather and I think we both learned a lot. The phone service out in Sherwood is terrible, so I had some trouble calling her, but I was able to communicate with her via email just fine. We had the downstairs room and it was very large and easy to decorate. If we had been able to be outside, we would have used the newly built gazebo, which is gorgeous. They served the best fried chicken I have ever had in my life! Working with Kristin was so easy, from the food tasting to the day of the wedding. Her and her team sure know how to serve delicious food. They went above and beyond to accommodate our guests with special food restrictions, and honestly, I wish I could have tried the vegan mushroom risotto, too. My friend has been a vegan for most of her life and told me it one of the beset vegan meals she’s ever had! We are beyond impressed with the food and will recommend High Cliff to anyone!

Great fun course for a great price. The views are amazing and usually a pretty fast play
