Hands down the best Indian restaurant In the area!! Family owned, great service and absolutely delicious food. Great selection at a very good price. The chicken korma was fantastic. Will definitely be back

We were so happy to discover this mom and pop shop during the pandemic. The owners are kind and friendly, and always come by to make conversation if it's not busy. I've lost count of the times we've eaten here, but the food is always so delicious. We usually order the Dinner for 2 Special and it is more than enough for 2 people--we always have leftovers. This is the only place I've tried so far that serves you food over a candle to keep it warm. I discovered Dal Soup, Kulfi, and Mango Lassi here and have been hooked every since. We try to come at least once a month and we always bring new people to come try. Seating can be limited, and I hope one day they expand to a large location.

Very good experience.. You can try their lunch specials. We got the butter chicken with rice and a drink for $13 with tax. The meal was amazing and got 2 lamb biriyanis. They will adjust tge spice level according to your taste. It's a hidden gem we found at Orleans. Try it out. Parking: Lots of parking behind Dietary restrictions: The chef ensured that the meal wasn't too spicy for my child and asked additional questions if any allergies are there with certain ingredients

I have to admit, I was very skeptical despite the reviews. I've often been let down by Indian food in Ottawa. But wow. Everything was insanely good. Really nice levels of spice, a good variety in flavor profiles, actually tender and juicy chicken breast in the butter chicken, and really complex flavors. And those portions are very, very generous. Taking a bite of the butter chicken and seeing the sauce soaked through the cuts of chicken told me all I needed to know. There's a lot of care in these dishes. The channa masala was wonderful. Tender chickpeas absolutely packed with flavor and spice. The navrattan korma was the surprise hit. The wife loves creamy coconut dishes, vegetables, and paneer. I've never had a dish that combined all of this and it was spectacular. I'm really excited to try everything else now.

Top notch Indian food at a good price. Amazing service full of respect. Love the clean tables and floor.

We came from Toronto to Hidden Taste, Admittedly have to say we had the best experience ever,foods were so tasty. Chef Sumeet was very professional and hospitable also prices were reasonable . we will Definitely come-back again .

You can taste the love in the food, and the owner welcomes you like a guest in his home. That's why it's busy. Been there only twice during off-peak hours, fortunately!Food: 5/5

What a gem! We just finished eating the best Indian cuisine I’ve ever had. Service was very kind and helpful with ordering. Every single dish was absolutely amazing. We will be back again and again. We will also highly recommend Hidden Taste to all of our family and friends!

Excellent food, Excellent staff. We tried their Samosas and they were excellent. Fish Pakoras? Crispy and perfectly cooked. Butter Chicken was a little mild, but that can be changed if you inform the staff - they are genuinely enthusiastic. Excellent meal. Place was clean as well. And again the staff were very attentive and cared about your experience. Very impressed, will be recommending to my friends and family. Parking: Plenty of parking spots in the rear!

We’ve ordered Hidden Taste for delivery about 5 or 6 times and although we did have one meal that was off from the quality we were used to, every other time we’ve ordered we were blown away by the quality of the food. Great heat level and such a dynamic flavour in every dish. Best Indian food in Ottawa, hands down. Vegetarian options: The baingan bharta is the star of the whole menu
