Really good sushi. The portions aren't the best but that's how they keep prices down. The staff are exceptionally friendly. Good variety of items.
First time visiting Hi Sushi. The place is quaint. The staff is very polite and courteous. The menu has a big selection and the service is amazing. I really enjoyed everything I tried. I will definitely be going back.
Average sushi at best. The rice was mushy and overall, the fish did not seem fresh. I was not impressed when I found a small piece cartilage or bone in my order. The sushi is just okay and if you're fine with okay than that is your prerogative.
Wanted to grab dinner on our way back to Mississauga from London and decided to try this sushi place bcoz of the good reviews. Unfortunately the rice on the rolls was overcooked n lumpy it was a lot of rice on the rolls. The calamari was overcooked n chewy. The service was great but unfortunately not the food.
Had a great dinner experience. Unlike other AYCE sushi places, they don't have a time limit so we could eat at the pace we like. Pretty good spread of options and all tasty too!
Very good - the best AYCE in Cambridge and the specialty rolls are on par with Nagano. The rice and nori were fresh, fish was delicious and service was quick
Just bad. I ordered a maki roll platter Friday evening and it really was just all around dissapointing. Of the 3 containers of wasabi, 2 of them were a weird watered down consistency. The rolls were all loosely rolled and extremely difficult to pick up without the contents falling out or them falling apart completely. The fish looked like it had been cut up with a dull knife. Some of the pieces were overpowered with mayo flavour. The entire platter looked very rushed and unappealing. They threw in a "promo" order of spring rolls that I believe was probably just sitting around. Definitely not made fresh as they were ice cold through and through. As if they'd been ready for hours and they were just looking to get rid of them. I called them to discuss the quality and they proceeded to place all the blame on Skip the Dishes!! I watched the order on the app and I can tell you there was nothing wrong with the delivery as the driver drove straight here. Besides, what was wrong with my order would have never been caused by a long delivery or anything the driver could have done. I will never order from here again. Not just for the lack of quality and refusal to take responsibility for the poorly made food, but for the completely rude interaction I had with the restaurant when I tried to discuss the issues! The man had zero respect for what I had to say, refused to listen to me, and told me to complain to Skip the Dishes for a refund. I hadn't even asked for my money back and I probably would have emphasized if any form of explanation had been given..... Hi Sushi? BYE SUSHI!!
Excellent food, excellent atmosphere, and excellent service! Took my daughter in. They were super educated in gluten-free. They had a huge selection to choose from. It was amazing and delicious! Worth the drive to another city!!! Oh and super quick to get the food to the table even though it was super busy! Dietary restrictions: Such an educated waitress on gluten allergies & celiac. She told us what to avoid, what we could sub out on things AND they had Gluten-free soy sauce at the ready!
Service was excellent. They have Gluten free soy sauce for the table. I had sushi and would say it was the best I have ever had. Very fresh. My wife had a bento box . The coating was very light and there was no oily residue at all, perfect. The value was also very good. Prices on par with similar restaurants but food was above average I would highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Thank you Hi Sushi. Henry. Parking: Plenty of parking Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options and soy sauce for the table.
Went during dinner time, staff was very friendly. Received a big welcome the moment I walked in. Service was great. Never had empty glass, someone always came and refilled our water before it was empty. Food was great, sushi was amazing. Hot bar wasn’t open but we could still order all the Chinese cuisine through the iPad, so it was great. Price was reasonable as well, not overpriced at all!! Overall a great dining experience.10/10 recommend going to hi sushi!!
