The recent opening of Hi Five Chicken in Burquitlam couldn't have come at a more opportune moment. With the community rapidly expanding and the recent exit of a major fried chicken chain, it feels as if the timing was written in the stars. We decided to indulge in a takeout order for our initial encounter. The team's service was exceptional, providing helpful advice for first-time customers and a complimentary appetizer during our short wait. They outshone themselves when a component of our family meal was unavailable and thoughtfully substituted it with other items at no extra cost. As for the chicken, it won my palate over with its non-greasy texture, a notable divergence from many fried chicken places. The availability of a grilled option with a delightful smoky note was a pleasant surprise. Not to forget, their signature sauces, both regular and spicy variants, were a flavorful delight. Their enthusiastic promotion of the new location was evident, and I hope that this level of customer service continues into the future.
Always had a good experience at Hi-Five Chicken and the service is consistently good. Super glad they now have an outlet so near where I live instead of having to drive to the New West location. The fried chicken is similar to Church’s Chicken, just slightly crispier and not as greasy. The baked chicken has a nice crisp exterior with flavourful meat. Price for the meals seem to have gone up unfortunately which is to be expected with inflation. Don’t forget to sign up for their rewards app and get cash back for future visits! Vegetarian options: There’re some vegetarian burgers on the menu. Parking: Entry to parking lot is quite tight and they share the space with Pizza Factory. Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a ramp to the entrance.
This place is really great, location is definitely amazing and the staff, I love them, I went there and ordered lunch without a drink, they gave me a complimentary drink and salad with my order. Mohit and Nav in particular really went out of their way to make the experience amazing, will definitely be back. The chicken was amazing as well, very clean and their sauces are delicious. I really love that they changed to halal as well. 5/5
As you can see in the picture, I had the spicy roasted & fried chicken combo. It was sooooo delicious! Especially, the roasted chicken was like WOW! All of the staffespecially Mohit who even offered me the table service even though i didn't ask for it were very friendly, quick, and helpful. They also offer some scrumptious dessert like, donut and chrruosyummy! I have no doubt this High Five chicken will be so popular soon! Can't wait to the other menu next time.

I am a very thankful with the incredible costumer service that they have, specially Payal and Hartman!! I went with my kid short of money, my son happy ask for a Halloween special, they asked do you want that And O right away say No- I asked my kid to take a seat- and they offer him a drumstick, I order a Homestlye sandwich but I didn’t read it has spicy mayo, mil kid was suffering but he didn’t say a word until he couldn’t stand it any more and said - it is spicy!!! Of course not, I said. Mom it is spicy, so o want to the counter to read it it has or not a spicy mayo, they give him another sandwich without mayo and a pop, with no extra charge for me!! I felt so thankful with them!!!!!
Best service I’ve ever had a fried chicken chain restaurant! Prices are comparable to Popeye’s and the portions of sides are good. Would recommend if you’re craving some fried chicken or a chicken sandwich!Food: 5/5
Honestly great food and the staff are very friendly. The chicken is great and the roasted chicken sandwich is amazing, so good. The fries are top notch as well. Rakhi and Harman have always been kind to me and offered some great suggestions. This place really looks after their customers
This is a new location so I thought the cleanliness and quality would be good. I paid $11.00 for a classic chicken sandwich they advised would take 5 minutes took 7 minutes but when I was eating later was completely cold so they were not making fresh just had a old patty. Don't know why takes 7 min to assemble a pre cooked sandwich. Will not be going back.
