HFM Pediatrics

The waiting room is very clean and tidy. I like that there are two waiting areas--one for sick kids and one for healthy kids. The desk staff are very friendly and kind. My son is 4 months old and has been seeing Dr. Strand since he was born. We met her in the hospital as she was the Pediatrician on call at the time. My son lost an entire pound during our 48 hour hospital stay and the nurses and lactation consultants were rude to me and implied that it was my fault. Dr. Strand came in to talk to me and she was so nice. She encouraged me, supported me and helped me get my son back on track. My son is exclusively formula fed and Dr. Strand was supportive in my decision to switch. I believe she would have been supportive of anything I wanted to do, as long as my child was thriving. Every visit we've had with Dr. Strand has been pleasant. She seems like she genuinely cares about my son and our family and does a great job at educating my husband and I about childcare.
