What a great treat with fresh ice cream made right on site. Delicious milk. Old school dairy bar and seating area with good food. Great classic uniforms worn by friendly helpful staff that seem honest to goodness glad to help and glad you like the food. New places try to recreate this vibe and look with no where near the authenticity and success as done here. This is an original that must be visited and experienced.

The only time I visit Hewitt's Dairy Bar is to pick up a milkshake or milk or cream as they sell that too. Hewitt's milk and ice cream is of the finest quality. The milkshake I get here really can't be beat. Sometimes you have to wait a while because there's a line up but that's a good sign. You can get simple meals here as there is a restaurant and it's set up like an old diner. The fact that they haven't changed it in decades gives it a charming feel.

Best ice cream! Love going here after dock diving with my dog at the K9 Fun Zone up the road.

What an awful experience. Not only was our waitress drunk, she fell over and dropped a plate right in front of us which shattered which caused a piece to come flying up and hit my husband in the eye.
