My family and I went there in October, fall time when the leaves colors change, before all the leaves fall off. We had the change to see some salmon, too. We got there around 10.30. It was a nice weather we walked around about 1 hour. After we went to The Chase it's nearby for a Chinese lunch. If i can go without children, i would prefer to come earlier around 8-10 am.
Short hike to the river view from on the hill. Did not explore enough to find a path leading down to the river. Tons of wild flowers and fruit trees. A combination of open meadow and twisty trails of different sizes.Playground: NoPicnic tables: YesBarbecue grills: No
Good park and trail close to the Credit River. Good place time to see the fall colours without driving too far. A hidden gem so quiet and lots of wildlife in the heart of the city.
One of the best fall colour viewing experience in Mississauga, in contrast the blue waters can be seen against the brilliant yellows and oranges of the season’s change. The spectacular trial is also visible from the bridge on drive along Eglinton Avenue from Mavis Road towards Credit Valley Hospital and there's ample space for car parking as well. Although every season will have its own theme, another great experience would to visit in the winters, the frozen waters and snow clad trial would be just like walking in a fantasy land. This place is worth visiting anyday of the year. I'm not sure whether there's any restroom close by, so be prepared for that.
I recommend going if you wanna see the salmon migrate, we saw a bunch of Chinook Salmon.
We came here solely for the salmon migration. Not sure what this park has but I do know out of all the other places we went to this one was the best for the salmon. The entrance to this park is hidden and google maps actually took me to a residential area so be aware of that.
Beautiful place to wonder and enjoy nature, but don't tell anyone.
This place is very beautiful. You must take the Culham trail to enjoy the walk. Very peaceful and serene.
Very quiet trail..could keep walking forever if you wanted to..nice view of the river
Nice trail along the credit river. Current conditions very icy. Wear crampons to safely walk. Love the birds and river in this season. Woodpeckers and hungry chickadees! Cardinals are also visible. Oh good tip feed ducks frozen green peas not bread. Better for them will avoid disease in their stomach. Meganzer ducks unique to this season and their friends mallards too. Have not seen an egret but will keep looking.
