In 2020, we paid them 2000 dollars for an easy adult adoption. He took my money quick enough, we had a few office visits, and now here we are in 2023. No adoption, no nothing. He's quick to tell you he'll get it done when you're on the phone with him but nothing gets done. Of course I'm out that money now. Do yourself a favor l, find someone else to represent you. This man just takes your money, pays some lip service, and runs.
We worked with Bernard Sr. He helped us setup a Seller-Financed Mortgage for a house sale, do the Deed for that sale, do a Living Will, and a Durable Power of Attorney. The mortgage prep fee was $170, deed prep $170, PoA $275, and Living Will $275. Cost to record the deed was $70 and to record the mortgage was $70. Office hours with him were $350/hour. He made things easier for us by explaining things we didn't understand by providing examples. He told us he has been doing this stuff since 1968. He was very personable and nice to work with. I live outside of Cleveland 3 hours away and was in Warren for an unrelated appointment. I stopped into their office without an appointment to see if he could help us and he was able to get us in that same afternoon to talk to us to assess what we were trying to do. He was able to accommodate my living out of state by doing our subsequent appointments on Monday & Friday. Would work with him again if I needed anything in the future.
I like Hessley Law office there always there to answer all of my question and when i need to see them they r very fast in getting me in
Professional & takes care of business in a timely manner. Highly recommend.
