Very rude customer service at the store: I wanted to buy a Nikon camera which is almost $2450+taxes with price match with other Canadian store but the manager at the store said he can do a price match but he will add the shipping of $80+tax on the purchase invoice because he is price matching with a online store. When I mentioned that they are giving free shipping, he said you have to wait 5 days with free shipping so buy from them. Price match is a joke at this store and Henry Camera should do something about it to improve customer service if they continuing price match option. His name is Joe and he say he is a manager of Heartland store.

It's a camera store like any other out there. What makes this place special is its people, everybody is very knowledgeable and offer great personal service, It doesn't matter if you're spending 60 or 6000 on anything. Much better service than vistek, and no ego! As for Noel for great service and support.

Bought a camera from them with extended life plan and it went on sale a month and few days after my purchase for significantly cheaper. I called to check if they could do anything about matching the price but they said there was nothing they could do because it was "out of the extended life price protection of 30 days" which was very dissapointing as it was their own price that I was trying to match and it only had been a couple days outside of the price protection plan. Bad pricing strategies, poorly thought out policies.

Their staff offers superb customer service! Except for the store manager. Another staff was very accommodating and was able to offer a reasonable discount for a used lens, an expensive filter, and an additional warranty offering. Although their manager seems to be very stuck up about price matching to Amazon and said that “I am doing you a favour to price match”, his staff was able to make up for his attitude. Will come back!

I called in to purchase a Rode mic for my phone. Very good service! I had a good experience. With that’s said, I am aware they have restocking fee, which may not be something you want if you are not sure exactly what you are purchasing.
