Stopped in at noon on a Tuesday. It's a fairly typical small-town restaurant, a little beaten up and rough around the edges. The lady serving was pleasant and friendly. The coffee was sub-par, but drinkable. We ordered sandwiches and burgers, and the food was fair, but excruciatingly slow (took 45 minutes). Based on what I saw and the rest of the menu, I suspect they mostly serve Chinese food, so I recommend maybe trying that instead of the sandwiches. Also, their menu is _extremly_ short on vegetables. They serve fries with everything (basic generic fries), only offering a Caesar salad (which was fresh but super basic) as an alternative. The water also tastes a tad odd, which is pretty normal for a remote town like Daysland. In the end, a family of 5 ate for $70 plus tip. A bit expensive for the style and volume of food. If I were to do it all again, I'd try stopping somewhere else, simply because the cost-benefit just wasn't good enough. I hope they can up their game without compromising their business viability. The whole stop took an hour and a half, which is way too long.

lots of food for the dollar but the quality has taken a nose-dive in the last six months. Used to be a regular. Won't go back any more.
