They serve afternoon tea! Wow! I wish I could bring my mother in law to this place, as they serve old fashioned, traditional English afternoon tea. Complete with the tired platter of sandwiches and sweets, china cups and saucers for the tea. I saw a couple across the restaurant having it and just had to ask about it. The owner told me it is one of their most popular orders, and she even makes her own Welsh cake for it. What a gem! We didn't come here for that, and I ordered the fish tacos before I even knew the tea was available. The fish tacos on the other hand, weren't anything to rave about. Fried with batter, which I personally really dislike and fairly bland. Would have loved the fish to be grilled without batter, and a bit more of a punch for a taco. Service was great and really friendly. I will definitely be back if for nothing else than to experience the afternoon tea.

On our way to a bed and breakfast, we were starving and ready for some delicious fish and chips! When I saw this place online and saw the pictures, my hopes were set high and the Henley house, its staff and food, delivered! The fish and chips was absolutely lovely, and went perfectly with the flight of beer featuring a collection of Sober Island Brews. The warm bread and herb infused butter tasted like more. It's a place you need to stop at if you're in the area!

My wife, 3 year old and baby stopped in for lunch while passing through. The inside is beautiful, but we sat on the patio since it was a nice day. There is a nice view of the harbour below. The staff was very friendly. They provided our son a colouring book and a box of pencil crayons/crayons. The menu is a little small, but I suppose that makes for better food. The prices were moderate. The food was excellent. I would return to this restaurant.

Great spot along hwy 7. Friendly people with a wonderful history. Food was delicious

Perfect place for seafood and homemade beer. Oysters were fresh and delicious. Lobster was perfect too.
