I've walked by here multiple times but never went in until today. I wasn't disappointed; it was a really great place. The food was delicious, and the staff was super nice. I really enjoyed the pizza; the crust was perfect. I'd also highly suggest getting the mozzarella sticks; they were wild. Thanks for the experience.
We absolutely loved the pizza here! The crust was baked to perfection - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and not too thick. We got the pepperoni pizza and mushroom pizza. Personally we thought the pepperoni had a more bold flavor, but the mushroom was also very umami and smokey.nnWe also started with the Aranchini deep fried risotto. It was very cheesy and the tomato's sauce tasted very fresh. The only thing we would say about this dish is that we wish we could have used the lemon slice but it was in the sauce making it too difficult to grab without getting out hands dirty. But this wouldn't be a problem if they put the slice on the edge of the bowl, similar to how you would recieve a slice of lemon on your drink.nnOverall great experience, nice outdoor patio too. We would totally go back to try their other pizza flavors!
Came here on a Saturday night with reservations. The place got busy, but never full. If you ever decide to come without a reservation, it shouldn't be a huge wait.nnWe ordered the arancini and fried calamari appetizers. Both were meager and offered very little in terms of taste. The calamari was especially tasteless and over fried if you ask me. I ordered the mushroom pizza, which was admittedly delicious. It was a white pizza which I asked to turn into a red one which they happily did for no extra charge. I'm a huge mushroom fan so my needs were met when it showed up and had a mountain of mushrooms on it. My biggest criticism for the Pizza was that it was soaked and impossible to pick up. Super floppy.nnMy wife ordered a pasta dish and it seemed like the noodles were made on site, something you don't see very often. While that was appreciated, the portion size was not. Most dishes were fairly small and most of my table left hungry. A friend at my table ordered the snail pasta special and said there were no snails to be seen.nnService was adequate, but I felt like there was no warmth. Maybe I'm asking for too much, I don't know.nnOverall, it was a decent place that I'm happy I tried but, like I said, there are way better pizza places around.
Wonderful upscale wood-fired pizza place in an interesting neighborhood. The Neapolitan pizza crust was perfectly crispy where it should be. The toppings were fresh. Amazing veggies and meats for toppings. The cheese sticks were fried perfectly. The restaurant had a nice selection of great wines. Great decor, fun vibes, and very popular. Reservations are probably needed. They let us sneak in after I promised we could be finished in an hour and half . They switched out waiters because our French is dismal. I thought we were doing fine with pointing; I guess they wanted us to be comfortable.
The atmosphere was welcoming. Went on a Wednesday night, so there weren't many people. The service was very friendly and helpful. Tried the Arancini entrée, yummy! Our pizzas were delicious, but not wow.
