Very cool little locally owned market. Good meat selection in the deli, huge beer selection, and a nice representation of local products and brands. Hegedorns is part and parcel with Webster town history and celebrated by locals. Plus, it was the filming location of the 2002 film ‘Checkout’—it’s a fun watch!
Ok, the middle of the store is fine, but the meat department is amazing, they got me the chicken sausage I've searched 2 cities for. I'm assuming the bakery and deli are also well above average.
I come in here about 15-25 times a month for subs and yesterday I specifically ordered my regular sub and I wanted yellow mustard and got some grainy mustard which I ended up throwing out the sub so upset. Today I came in for more subs and didn’t even look like any turkey this is not what I normally get very disappointed these last couple of days. I might be finding a new place for subs. That’s an embarrassment
My mom and I went shopping one time and the service was fantastic. Keep up the good work
Hegedorns is a great local market. They have items that you cannot find in other grocery stores. Their homemade breads are fantastic, and they have decent deals on meat and produce when on sale.
It's a market, groceries. An alternative to others. They're fruit and produce selection to me seems a bit fresher than others. Good size beer, snack selection, lottery, cigars, cigarettes...
Nice little store. Well stocked... great place to be find different brands and smaller packaging. Bakery has great homemade breads and baked goods. Meat department is always very accommodating. Store is rarely really busy. Great to run in and grab something. Parking lot is kind of a pain. Can't bring out your own groceries. Have to have a kid help you because the lot is sloping and the carts would roll away....
I’ve been shopping at Hegedorn’s for years now and I love the selection of products they have and how friendly and helpful the staff are. Today was the first time I attempted their online shopping and grocery delivery, and let me tell you, I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. The website is easy to use and find all the items I wanted in this shopping trip and the person who delivered everything to me today was very nice. I have already told a few people I know how happy I am with this service. I love knowing I’m not being overcharged for products and only have the one delivery fee, which I will happily pay, and am supporting a locally owned store. I know I will use it again in the future. Thanks for a wonderful and safe experience.
Incredibly friendly staff. Chef Joe at the Deli is the greatest. He always makes me look good when I grab something from him for a party. The bakery is second to none and the Customer Service is 100% unmatched. I go out of my way to shop here. Big store with small hometown feel and attention.
