From the moment we met Heather, we realized she had knowledge of the area our cottage was located, and an excellent understanding of the market in the area. We agreed with her market evaluation after showing us comparable sold homes in the area. She has expertise with the Muskoka Lakes with pricing suggestions- and Heather was bang-on. The staging advice and the photography was extremely well done. We sold for well over asking. We would recommend Heather and her colleague Christina to anyone looking to sell their place in Muskoka. The most positive experience we could have imagined.
Having to move and buy a house 3 hours away from your current residence could have been very stressful however Heather made the whole process very easy and stress free. She always had our preferences top of mind and worked diligently to find a house that would suit our needs. She made time to show us houses whether in person or via FaceTime due to us being 3 hours away. She was always available and prompt with her responses on any questions we had. Would HIGHLY recommend if you're looking for a realtor!

HEATHER IS THE BEST! We were lucky enough to have found Heather through reviews similar to this one. The minute I reached out to Heather, I knew that we were in good hands. This was not our first home purchase, but it was our first experience in cottage country. Heather went above and beyond to ensure that the process was smooth and completely stress-free! Heather immediately understood that we don't live in the area, and when we found a cottage that interested us, Heather actually went to to see it ahead of our visit and sent us a thorough video of her walk-through complete with colour commentary!. We knew immediately that we loved the house, and Heather's knowledge and expertise helped us make an offer that would ultimately result in the purchase. It is important to mention that there was another offer on the table, but Heather acted in our best interest and DID NOT push us to make an offer beyond our budget. Additionally and this is CRITICAL with a realtor, Heather did not drop us as soon as the offer was accepted or once the sale went through. Heather guided us in terms of finding the right and most amazing inspector Paul Studholme, helped us find a local lawyer, guided us with local utilities and even helped us find the right person for minor updates and renovations. Heather is accessible, responsive and professional. She keeps her calm, and makes what could be a stressful experience actually quite amazing. Obviously, we highly recommend Heather Scott. Heather was referred to us by a friend in 2018 - she was using her to buy a property in Muskoka. I called her as a property had become available on the Moon River and we had to act fast. I was in downtown Toronto when we concocted a plan. She offered to drive to the property and take videos for us to make a decision on a site-unseen offer. We saw enough to like so she worked with us to get an offer prepared in 24 hours. After some negotiation which she was helpful on - we secured the property! When searching for a cottage on the Big 3, Heather was referred to us by a trusted friend who had had a positive prior experience with her. As we worked with Heather, we were immediately impressed with her friendly-professionalism, timeliness of response to any questions we had, negotiating skills and, most of all, her familiarity and knowledge of the lakes and the nuances of the Muskoka Region. Her local knowledge, her caring to take the time to understand our family's preferences and her 'sense of urgency' when acting on the deal and/or answering a question are the three attributes that distinguish Heather, in our mind. We still love and enjoy the cottage gem that she found for our family and we would recommend Heather without hesitation.

When we decided to sell our cottage, we had worked with a different agent at first. It had been on the market for several months with very few showings and no offers.
