I have attended a few events at Heartland over the years and I have always received excellent customer service. The staff always makes sure everyone is taken care of. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere!!! I would recommend Heartland for any event you may be planning!!! Wedding, reunion, Jam night, celebration of life. The owners are amazing and take the time to make sure everything is up to their standards!! I have not had the chance to camp at their site but it looks like there is everything you would need! Showers, a play ground, firewood, etc! What else could you ask for really!

Turned up expecting an open office or someone to point us in the right direction. An hour later we go exploring on our own to find every site has an old dirty poorly maintained portaloo, no running water and no showers. Finally stumbled across two young men who explained the showers were broken, while smoking? Dissatisfied and shocked to say the least. Pity. It looks like it could be beautiful and fun place, and the groundhogs are adorable.

Great campsites, really helpful staff, and affordable prices. Not too far town. It's got great views and is a good choice for camping and family events

How would I describe my experience at heartland? Let me start with the word unbelievable. (Not in a good way). In my move to Kelowna, I was having a hard time finding housing, I got in contact with one of the owners and they made the place (and themselves) sound like such fantastic, good hearted people. They sounded welcoming and stated that my boyfriend and I and our two dogs could make the space we were renting from them feel like home for as long as we needed. Upon arrival at Heartland, the tent sites were overgrown and full of dead brush that they said they would clear out, they did not. So my boyfriend and I cleaned it and raked it nicely and burnt any fallen dead brush that was around. We had nowhere to sit or eat dinner except for our tent so we asked if we could build a few things, the one owner told us it wouldn't be a problem and to make ourselves at home, so we did.. only to be reemed out by her partner saying that we were disrespecting them and going against what they had told us... it was clear to us very quickly that there was NO communication between the two "business partners" Their "showers" were literally a bathtub with a sheet of plywood through the center making it into "two showers" ... no lights in there and nothing but a couple of unstable skids to keep you from touching the disgusting floor. I actually had to get a gym membership just so I could shower after work every day. Their idea of bathrooms were a bunch of DISGUSTING Porta potties that were so close to overflowing from the lack of being cleaned that I chose to pee outside instead. The first 4 days we were there, they had no running water; and when they finally did get the only water supply in the campground up and running, it tasted a bit off... I wouldn't trust it to drink. The place was full of garbage due to the laziness of their "staff" not emptying them, and their unprofessional attitudes drove us away. We paid for a month and we stayed not a day later. Thankfully we found a place to go because you couldn't pay me enough to ever go back there. I would never recommend this place to anybody. Ever. It was a month of time and money wasted and a headache I wish I never came across. Go elsewhere .... ANYWHERE ELSE.

I required a place to live near Kelowna while I attended trade school, unfortunately I chose heartland. The place is a dump. Garbage was strewn every where because it was never picked up, and the animals would get into the barrels. It attracted 2 bears, one got into some unlucky guys tent. The shower facilities are 3 dollars and consist of a 1970s bathtub split in 2 by some plywood, the water is cold and there is no light. The porta potties have never been emptied and were very close to over flowing, absolutely disgusting. If your an RV there is no real power hook ups, they had 4 trailes splitting 2 circuits of 20 amps! Water for drinking tastes off and I doubt if it's ever tested. Long story short, I was there for a month and left as soon as the money I gave them ran out. Do not stay here unless it's your last resort. I would bet a large sum of money all the 5 star ratings are BS, there is not even picnic tables. I repeat this place is a disappointing dump.
