My friend took me here for the first time while I was visiting her in Windsor. They offer a large menu of lunch and breakfast items to eat in or take out, a large display of fresh baked goods and a grocery area with pantry and freezer items! It’s a vegan’s paradise My friend is not vegan and she has been here a few times so I feel this is a great spot for anyone to enjoy!
Really good food and a cute patio! We really enjoyed the healthy products inside the store too. Definitely recommend checking out! Try Carrots N Dates too!
The food here made with the intention of serving women doing yoga if that makes sense - if you're hungry and you come here for soup you're going to need to bring something else with you because the portions here pretty small. The atmosphere is really nice and the staff is great is just man those portion sizes need a little bit of an increase. I'm not a big eater or anything like that it's just where are the calories? Vegetarian options: It's a vegan restaurant so there's lots of vegetarian/vegan options. Kid-friendliness: I can imagine some well behaved kids being welcomed here. It's more of an adult's vibe but if they were well behaved I think that they would be well received. Parking: Beside the restaurant - maybe 10-15 spots? Dietary restrictions: I think that the waitress said that everything is gluten-free there. It's a vegan restaurant so there you go. Maybe call ahead for any other restrictions?
I have always loved the food at Healthy Mama - it is really delicious! However, service is hit or miss. I recently went for lunch with my sister, and the service was not great. They never brought the water we asked for, gave us one napkin total for two people, and one of the employees in particular seemed quite miserable. I fully understand that people have bad days sometimes, but this unfortunately wasn't my first time experiencing poor service here. I will return for the amazing food, but it would be nice if service could be improved!
Healthy mama is a great family friendly venue. Healthy and delicious food, amazing staff and quaint environment. They provide the perfect atmosphere. Vegan food, live entertainment, patio and indoor seating. Can't recommend this restaurant enough!
All I can say is wow! The food is absolutely amazing, tastes great. Only thing missing is the information on nutritional values of their dishes. If you’re watching your calories or careful about cholesterol, saturated fats and trans fats it is difficult to know exactly how much you are getting in a dish. Being new to the vegetarian world, I’m always looking for new things to try. Hands down best vegan food I’ve ever had. Love this place.
Friendly staff, interesting and yummy food options, but a bit pricey. Parking: There is parking on both sides of the building, more on the south side. Dietary restrictions: Very helpful with any dietary restrictions. The staff with help find it make a meal for you not matter how complicated your dietary needs.
A perfect spot for lunch. The food is healthy, but most importantly, super tastyI'm not vegan. Very filling portions and lots of options. Quick service and a great take home area.Food: 5/5
The only good thing I can say about this place is the building and decor are comfy and warm. Acai bowl fruit was very mushy and did not seem fresh. Americano was barley warm. Staff makes it seem like they are doing you a favor by taking your order and serving you.Food: 1/5
The food is incredible! Portions are generous and everything is fresh! I love everything on the menu but the tomato dill soup and Greek salad is to die for! Wish I could give this place 100 stars!
