I've been meaning to check this place out ever since we moved to Cloverdale and I'm so happy we did. The food was delicious, the beer was great and the service was lovely. My wife had the Hot Summer Night pizza which had watermelon of all things on it ... And it was amazing! I had the Big Kahuna burger and it was exceptional. Our server was very friendly and gave us some good suggestions. We will definitely be coming back, as their menu has many more options we wish to try!
Great ambiance in this family friendly business. Lots of interesting decor to check out. We went for an early dinner 4:30, wasn’t noisy yet busy with a constant flow of customers/families, obviously popular! Our server, Courtenay was welcoming and friendly, giving excellent service and attention. We were surprised to find our ND neighbour, Casey working there too….both are an absolute asset to this business!! We were fortunate to hit the happy hour specials: Calamari $13 and The Royale $15, with The Dude Pizza $23.99 and a pint of Big Red Celtic Ale $8.49 completing our order. Food service was quick and well prepared/presented…..delicious. Easily visible on the Surrey/Cloverdale border with street parking in front and side street. Highly recommend and a return trip is guaranteed.
Over all this was a great experience. The have a very good selection of drinks and the food is really good also. We were seated outside on the patio where it looks like they do allow dogs on the patio. We went there for an early dinner and had a really good experience, near the end the service got a little slow, other then that it was a very pleasant experience. We will for sure be back.
We ordered The Tuscan chicken fettuccine, fish tacos and tequila chicken wings. Everything came out fabulous! For beers, we ordered the Grimbergen nice, light and refreshing and the Fuggles and warlock..... really enjoyed it! Highly recommended and will definitely return with some friends
First timer. Vibe was awesome and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Have their own little twist on the Caesars. Food was decent, only con I can think of is that the wings were a little dry. Would be back :
Great place! Inside has variety of custom made decorations. Service was good. Ordered lemon mussels and chicken tacos with ceasar salad. Tacos were good but was small for the price. Ceasar salad was to small. Mussels came with bread slices. Had czechmate draft pilsner was very good.
To start, this place has such a positive environment! I ordered the chicken burger with a grilled chicken patty and gluten free bun. The patty was ok and the bun was honestly the worst gluten free bun I've ever had but the fries made up for it! So yummy! My boyfriend got the Big Kahuna burger. My bf said it was a bit much but that's just his personal preference, he liked it though. He also said the fries were probably one of the best ones he's had in a long time. Our server was super kind and bubbly, we really liked the vibe of the place! We are looking forward to planning another date here and trying other stuff! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
nice atmosphere. Great service. I tried the new Nashville chicken burger. It had some nice spice but lacked a little sauce or something. Still tasted good. The Asiago artichoke dip is awesome! Was a good size for an appetizer and flavour was incredible. Market burger my wife has was 5/5. Juicy and flavourful. Give Hawthorne a try. Parking: Lots of street parking Wheelchair accessibility: Level entrance
Went for lunch so it was a little quieter, which I like. Can't speak for the atmosphere in the evenings. Wings, and mussels were food, however the pizza wasn't quite up to par. Taste was good but most of the cheese would come off with the second bite of a slice leaving you with saucy dough for the second half of the slice.
From 5 to 1. A raving fan, to not planing on returning again soon. Hopefully a bad night for the team, but haven't had service this poor in a long time. Didn't see me waiting at the door, poor greeting, sat me an walked away. Got me a drink. Didn't comeback to take a food order. Other tables were seated and then served. Like I said, I hope it just a bad day at the office.
