We were most impressed by the food & service at Hawgs Breath in Kincardine We ordered the Chicken Parmesan and Bagel Skins sandwich, both with soup. The owner of the restaurant also treated us with some tasty desserts. She ran us down to let us know there was an open table available, which was amazing news after being turned down at every other place we had tried. 10/10 recommend if you’re ever in the area!
Delicious food and lovely staff. Great beer on tap. Not far from beach. A little bit of a wait for a table. Pretty patio and nice rustic building.
Went here for dinner with a couple of friends on a whim since our first choice was closed, and after eating here it will be my first choice going forward. A robust drink list, a menu that is both familiar and yet refreshingly different and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend and I will look forward to going again. Besides, how can you not like nachos made with Doritos? Or, and this blew my mind, what may be the best Rueben sandwich I've ever had. Bravo Hawgs Breath.
Well Worth the money, and that is no small praise after the tourist traps we sludged through this summer talking to YOU, greater Picton. $21 smoked brisket sandwich came with a generous bowl of white cheddar & jalapeno soup. Also relaxed, TRAINED wait staff, and all over age 19!. In this desperate labour market in rural Ontario, this employer proves they can retain staff - - and customers. It has the charm of a popular and packed village pub, and the menu of a savvy chef.
Stopped in for lunch and got the last empty table. Staff was friendly and service excellent. The food was delicious and the portions were large. An excellent experience, highly recommended for great food, excellent service, and good atmosphere.
Nice pub in Kincardine. They have a nice selection of draft beers and a bull bar. The staff were super friendly and the food was pretty good. Although this is probably the only pub I've ever been to that do not serve fries. It's fine, but just fyi : Highly recommended!
The name is unappetizing, but the sandwiches were delicious! Even at lunch time on a Tuesday, the restaurant was more than half full - sign of a local gem! I had the brisket sandwich with soup. The sandwich was delicious. My friend had the sandwich special, which was pear, chicken, ham and fig jam...also really good! Would recommend to anyone looking for a casual lunch in the area. Next time, I'd like to try the nachos, which are made with Doritos!!
Rated number 1 on Tripadvisor a unique restaurant without regular kitchen. They have small ready to serve kind of kitchen where the magic happens. They serve good variety of soup, sandwiches and salads for lunch and dinner with bar. I went there to try lunch and got daily special which was Grilled chicken salad with roasted almonds, cheese and dry cranberries. The daily specials are usually same and do not change often. I also got Thai chicken soup. My friend got same. Both dishes were of great quality and with sufficient quantity. The grilled chicken has little extra salt for person like me who avoid too much salt, however, it was perfect for my friend as he loved it so much. Our server was Regan, she is an amazing person and service was quick too. The price was very reasonable, for both soup and salad and it was with tax and tip around $25. A perfect lunch and I will definitely go there for dinner to see how it feels. I am not sure what time it closes, I guess early so please check time before go and it is a must go place in Kincardine if you like quick amazing food. Enjoy travel.
Great atmosphere! Service was on point! The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. When traveling the world, we enjoy a good pub with an exceptional experience. Walking in, we were welcomed right away. Absolutely love this place!
Delicious food, great tap selection, fast & friendly service. I'm amazed and impressed at the quality and variety of food they serve with such a small area!
