A really fun spot. Absolutely delicious drinks, food is simple and well prepared, they do a few dishes and they do them well. Hopping over for a few post-market drinks on the patio is highly recommended. Their drag show nights are wonderfully entertaining just ensure you book a table, it gets packed. The venue doesn't lend itself perfectly well to having stage shows due to the strange placement of the stage but if you get a good table, you won't be disappointed. Decor is fun and kitschy, they nailed the atmosphere.

Amazing bar! They have amazing deals every day but even without the deals they are pretty affordable for anyone with any budget. Their karaoke girl that plays the piano is excellent, she knows probably every song and if she doesn't know a song, she can figure it out in a few minutes if you give her the song. The food is excellent as well as the drinks they offer. I just wish they had gumbo, but I'd only be mad if their other food wasn't so excellent.

Damn. This place is the best eating out experience ice had in i can't remember how long. The decor was a perfect southern bar replete with vintage TV , old signs , posters and furnishings. Our server was warm and took the time to kindly explain all of our options with our meals. The corn fritter starter was the best I've ever had . They were hot and crunchy with a sweetish dough. The spicy honey dip was good , but the garlic-dill ranch dip was unfreaking real !!! The fried chicken was so crispy and yet so moist and flavorful inside. The ribs were done perfectly with a savory spicy rub that was great on its own , but truly complemented the assortment of sauces available. The sides ? The coleslaw was actually fresh and crisp with sweet notes and sour bite. The seasoned fries were salty goodness that was only made better by using the aforementioned garlic-dill ranch dip . The beans were good but given the fact that the rest of the sides were so amazing, they weren't notable. The macaroni side was shockingly great. Usually places flub this one , but here it was elevated to new heights with herbs and white cheddar . I couldn't get enough of it !! As we came with our kids , we didn't explore the drink menu , but it did look promising. My biggest peeve with the evening was knowing that this is Edmonton and I live in Calgary ;( I'll definitely be back.

It mixes the best qualities of a bar and restaurant in a tucked away location. Unfortunately the music is a bit loud and hard to converse with larger parties. Food was great and portions appropriately sized. The waitress that served us was friendly and service impeccable. The food was ready very quickly so i would consider them for take out in the future. Especially if i wanted to enjoy a beer while i wait. Their beer menu is sizeable.

The staff here is amazing! Waitresses actually remember my drink and I only come by about once a month. The food has a solid reputation, but what I go to Have Mercy for is the monthly Petroleum Soul Club. Best place in Edmonton for Soul music. The only complaint is that sometimes they keep the dance floor closed to have more tables available.
