This is the worst pizza I have ever had, and I've had a lot of pizza. Few toppings that were not flavourful. Extremely bland sauce and a crust that was bone dry and way too crunchy like some sort of giant cracker. The cheese was also bland, if you can imagine that, and did not feel right in the mouth. They are trying to sell themselves as "tumblers" but it's nothing like that. Avoid this place if you want good pizza. There are plenty of other takeaway places in Regina, all better than this place, even the super cheap 2 for 1 places or the horrible US chains. Honestly, avoid this place if you want good pizza. To be fair, I cannot speak to the other food or service. We just ordered pizza for takeaway and that's the only thing I can honestly write about.
This place is outstanding...... the food is incredible...the prices are reasonable and the atmosphere makes it easy to lose track of time. They have pool table, pinball and shuffle board....and so much more. It is the IT place to be right now and I dont see that changing anytime in the future. The pretzel bites are out of this world and if you live pasta then you are in the right place. So many more things to recommend but it is better of you find out for yourselves!
Been to Has Beans a few times now and it is lacking. Want so badly to like this place, but they've got some work to do. Food is really inconsistent in terms of quality, service is way too slow and they seem to be under staffed at times. Drink variety is good, but they frequently run out of things. Overall the prices and portion sizes are good, the specials are great and the atmosphere is casual and inviting. However, if they don't get things more organized and work out the kinks soon it'll be hard to keep going back.
They claim to serve Tumblers Pizza. Be aware that what they serve is nothing like the real Tumblers Pizza. You can expect less then half the ingredients, very little sauce this is what made a good Tumblers Pizza, very little cheese and a whole lot of crust. In our case it was very burnt crust, yet it was served anyway. I will never be back. An absolute joke! The only thing that is comparable to Tumblers is the price, $50 for a pizza, a premium that I am willing to pay for good pizza. Save your money and order from TJs. The service was fine but the restaurant was freezing another example of the owners trying to save money at the customers expense. I should have followed my instincts when I saw that they were too cheap to have a sign big enough to read from the street! I give this place less then a year and it will go belly up.
Even though they were down one server, our service was really good, really impress with the food
Not sure how this place got good ratings it’s either because some people just don’t know good food, or they got friends/family to write the reviews because this place was horrible. The Brisket which should be soft and tender was tough and dry as could be. Absolutely unacceptable. Even the simplist of foods such as the pancakes were dry and you had to pull teeth just to get the syrup that is suppose to come with it. When asked where the whipped cream was that came with the pancakes, the girl said they were out. It had been open for 4 days...soo I’m not sure how you can be out of whipped cream in 4 days? What a joke. When we told the waitress instead of apologizing she was rude and completely dismissive. Also there are way to many items on the menu, it should be cut in half at least so they can focus on making less items but quality items. I give this place 3 months before the doors close and advise you not to waste a cent there. If I could give it 0 Stars I would. Horrible! Embarrassing!
Went for lunch today. Had a brisket club sandwich. It was very good. The service was fast and friendly. The music may have been a little loud for lunch but the songs were good. Overall a great visit.
I don't know if I've ever left a bad review in my entire life but wowza. The food other than the pizza was amazing but everything else...terrible. We had a reservation for 6pm. When I got there the table was not ready, a server didnt come by for probably 15-20 minutes to order our drinks. Free caesars for the few of us that waited which was greatly appreciated until we drank it... it was the most free drink I've ever had, watery clam in a glass. Ordered double captain morgans which a didn't taste like captain and b was for sure not a double. Waited at least 45 minutes between drinks. They ran out of vodka, captain morgans, and original 16. Our server had only been there for two days and was nearly in tears because their staff was literally walking out. Other than the free water caesar there was no discount, and no manager to be found. People changed their team name while playing Name That Tune to "where is our server". I messaged Has Beans on Facebook to give some feedback on our reservation experience. It's been almost two weeks and I still have not received a reply. That place has sooooo muchhh potential. It is super sad to see it understaffed, always running out of essential stock, and zero responsibility when it comes to many things including taking feedbackbeing a consistent issue. I leave this review here hoping that Has Beans management will see it and attempt to fix whatever issues they can in the business for the future. I love the environment there and I want your business to thrive but with customer service like that...things have got to change.
The wings and weasel deal for 10 bucks shouldn't even be advertised as an option. Imagine getting 5 wings it does not tell you how many and the cheapest can of beer they can find for 10 bucks. What a steal. The wings actually tasted good. I'd advise any server to warn your customers before ordering this deal of the quantity as the disappointment on all of our faces was apparent.
We have been into Has Beans Cafe a half a dozen times now. IMO it has pros and cons... Pros - Good food. When it comes right down to it the food is the most important in a restaurant. They have a pub-ish menu. Sandwiches, burgers, hotdogs, poutines, appies etc etc etc. They have a HUGE menu!! - Large on tap selection which changes frequently. So much so that the staff can barely keep up. - Good specials! Mondays $6 nachos are MASSIVE. Like as big as an XL pizza. Fridays are fishbowls and I believe there is a pint and dry rib special too. I love the boneless dry ribs! - They actually use Motts Clamato in their ceasars not that bar clam!! - Decently priced. Especially when you order the specials. - Its comfortably decorated. Pub style with albums, coasters, scotch boxes, posters etc etc. - shuffle board, pool etc. - Not a huge chain. Only its 2nd location. Now for the cons. - Super slow service everytime we've been in. We have to fetch our own menus, never got refills and had to flag down a server to get a bill, which took over 10 mins. That can be annoying. So know that going in and you wont be frustrated. - MASSIVE menu. Which is good, but not. The entire one side of 1 menu there is 2 front and back!! Is of pizzas that they dont carry anymore and now farm out to an actal pizza restaurant. - Although they just opened a few months ago the place already looks rundown. It just seems like it needs a GOOD CLEANING. Like no one did a full cleaning since the change over. Wash the windows. The hallway to the washrooms is awful. You can peek in the kitchen and there was food on the floor, dirty napkin on the counter... just not an appealing view. The masagers office is left open and the ceiling tiles falling off or work being done - which big deal its the office, but shut the door! The womans bathroom... oh good lord! The ceiling tiles are stained from a leak, no soap, no paper towel, the sink water is set to frostbite. And not sure if there was a frat party the night before but there was vomit all up the back of one of the toilets which was not new and looked like a clean up was attempted but poorly. Woof!! Not to mention... put a frosting on the woman's bathroom door!! Clear glass is not appropriate in a public washroom. - Servers. Seem inexperienced with proper food handling safety. The way they serve your plate with their thumb on your plate so in your food. In our recent visit I asked for a lemon wedge and the waitress grabbed it with her hands not tongs and walked across the restaurant with it in her hand.. what??? All in all I think all the cons can be fixed with some training and a cleaning shift or two. As there is a lot of competition in Regina those small things over looked can be detrimental to creating return customers. I sure hope things will change and get better as I do love the location and the food is TASTY!!!
