Surprisingly not very busy on a Saturday night, so service was fast and friendly. We got the Cream Seafood Pasta and Honey Garlic Wings. Seafood was fresh and pasta + cream sauce was delicious. There was ample sauce but could probably include more pasta noodles next time. Shrimps, muscles, and clams were good. Honey Garlic Chicken served boneless. Nicely breaded and not overly saucy. Crunchy, moist, and overall delicious. Would definitely come back!
This place is a true hidden gem and off the beaten path. It’s an Asian fusion restaurant with a true chef that ensures not only good flavors, but he also puts a lot of effort into the food presentation. Food portions are sizable and their service is great! Rare to find fusion restaurants outside of the city.
The server is Filipino and has such a warm personality. So welcoming. The chef and owner is Korean and my compliments to him. Good job. Eat here if your on the way to Whistler. Worth your while.Food: 5/5
This place is great. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Right from the start our host was very efficient and gracious. The food was delicious and well prepared. Definitely worthwhile if you are looking for Japanese comfort food. The Enoki mushrooms in the miso soup are sublime by the way… in a subtle way.Recommended dishesCalamari, Hire Katsu
I love this place. It’s one of the most under-rated places in Squamish!!! Only spot to get Korean fried chicken! I usually order take out and it’s always phenomenal! In the photos I ordered the spicy&sweet fried chicken and the house salad. I’ve also had a few of their Katsu options and ! Definitely go here!
We had a wonderful meal here. The food was generously portioned with a lot of variety dishes on the side. Owner was super nice! Would definitely come back again!
Fantastic experience trying this place on our way to camping! It’s a hidden gem like all the other reviews said. Great service and great value for food! Our waiter was very kind and served us so well; he said he just moved here from the Philippines and used to be a bartender, so the restaurant just recently introduced a cocktail menu. He said we ordered the very first cocktail they served! The chef even came to ask us how our food was. For food we ordered the honey garlic chicken which came with a cabbage salad and radish side dish, pork katsu which has an amazing light but crispy crust, and came with a huge bowl of miso soup, cabbage salad and smiley face taters, and seafood pasta came with green salad, the cream sauce was amazing and there was lots of seafood. We loved everything!
Amazing place. I was treated well by the staff. I asked the chef if the spring rolls could be vegetarian, he considered for a moment, smiled and said “yes!” I think he made them that way for me. The food is delicious, the portion sizes are big. My vegan katsu was enough for lunch and dinner on top of the spring rolls. Keep up the great work Haru!!
Spectacular food and exceptional service! We absolutely LOVED this place. Our server Carlo was amazing, super personable and funny! This place exceeded our expectations. It's a hidden gem for sure! The flaming bulgogi was exceptional both in flavour and presentation. We will be back! Parking: Convenient, plentiful and free parking right in front of the restaurant.
I enjoyed my experience at Haru! The creamy lemon shrimp and the chicken katsu were really good. The waiter and chef were also welcoming and friendly. Would definitely go back.
