We came in for dinner about an hour before closing. The dining room was clean, and we ordered a turkey salad sandwich with fries and an open faced turkey sandwich with a baked potato. The prices were very reasonable, totaling $27 for both with tax. Our food came within 10 minutes and was delicious. The saltines and carrot relish that they serve as an appetizer was wonderful, too. We will definitely be returning!
Haven’t been there in many years ; went in with a party of 8. Turkey , stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce on plate with squash and mashed potatoes on the side . Other dishes included fried haddock and Mediterranean pasta. Pasta and fish were good . Turkey and stuffing were just okay if I’m being totally honest ! I got a large quantity of food for about $28. I think I expected more from a place that has been around fir many years . Service was fine and it did bring back memories! Another thing…I like turkey that looks like it was hand sliced and a little on the thick side ; this turkey was just about deli thin and actually turned me off .
Expectations are always high when you go somewhere that specializes in something. Went there searching for the best turkey sandwich, I found a good sandwich there. Prices are high for portions. Expect to spend about $25-$30 pp for lunch. We spent almost $100 for three with tip. Waitperson Dane was awesome. Super friendly and attentive. Turkey was good, cooked well. Stuffing was good, a homemade feel, gravy wasn't very flavorful and the rice was ok. Bread and presentation were meh. Appetizers were as expected. Didn't notice any vegetarian options on menu.
The food was really good. I was caught by surprise by the carrot relish. It was so good that I had to buy a jar to go. Service was excellent as well. My server Ariella was very friendly & attentive. I'll definitely return the next time I'm in New Hampshire.Food: 5/5
Great place! I've never seen a menu with so many turkey offerings! Settled on the roast turkey dinner duh. It was delicious, nicely seasoned. The potatoes and butternut squash were perfect but the highlight was the corn bread! Nicely sweetened Northern Corn bread, maybe with maple syrup. We got some of that to go. Will have to come back to sample some of their other offerings. Recommended!
We had a great lunch and dessert here! So many turkey options which made it so fun! We got the turkey pot stickers for an appetizer, a turkey ceasar salad wrap and turkey meatball sub. The carrot relish they brought over to start with crackers was amazing!!
Discovered this gem while travelling through the area. Stopped for lunch. Excellent and very friendly staff. Good variety on the menu. Lots of turkey options, as well as other choices. They started us with carrot relish and crackers. It was delicious we bought 2 jars in their store. Next was the freshly made Parker house rolls and honey maple cornbread. Wife had a turkey, apple, brie sandwich with cranberry chutney. I had the prime rib. Both entrees were very good. And we couldn't leave without partaking in their homemade desserts. We had the apple crisp and the carrot cake. Yum yum!
Was pleasantly surprised! We ordered Thanksgiving Dinner, Turkey Livers, and Harts Chocolate Cake. Everything was good. Not bad, not awesome. A bit expensive. They charged $4 for coffee, and $4 for splitting the dinner… A decent local spot to visit once in a while.
Turkey medallions were delicious. Service was the best. If you're in the mood for turkey this is the place. Every day is Thanksgiving!
I just discovered this place last week and am returning for a third time tomorrow. Their take out is generously portioned but when you dine in your get some extra fixings. A carrot relish with crackers to cleanse the pallet and a bag full of fresh baked carbs. One roll and one piece of maple cornbread for each guest along with butter to melt into each bite. Their turkey dinner tastes homemade and the butternut squash is like it was just scooped out of the shell. Thanksgiving or not , this place is a must visit.
