Delightful, tastefully quirky decor. Entertaining to examine the thoughtful collection of teacups and decorative glassware made locally. Really charming. Food is excellent and well priced. Peaceful setting in peaceful hamlet of Shakespeare.
I used to visit this place years ago with my mother so my sister and I took our daughters for high tea. I felt it was way overpriced for what we got, and what we were served certainly wasn't up to the standard that I remembered. #disappointed
Enjoyed a beautiful late afternoon tea with my wife. She had a walnut beet salad avoids wheat while I had a scone and tea bread plate. The tea bread in this case was banana bread. It was quite dense, but tasty. The scone was great. It was the last hour of their day 4-5 so very quiet. Great atmosphere and wonderful staff.
