Was at a loss while searching for cartridges for a 22 year old faucet. Stopped in and spoke with Andrew who knew exactly what I needed. He went ahead and ordered them for me. Received them within the estimated time frame, they worked perfect. Thank you.
Ripples Bathroom Boutique provided stellar service and great value in facilitating our bathroom renovation. Leanne’s design expertise guided our selection of all finishes to achieve the look we wanted. Andrew ensured everything was ordered and on hand for a timely start. Rizzi Renovates completed the project as scheduled in a professional manner and were great to work with. We are thrilled with the result. We highly recommend both Ripples Bath Boutique and Rizzi Renovates!
The manager was absolutely unhelpful, sold us the most expensive items without asking anything about the bathroom layout. When it was discovered 2 of the items wouldn't fit he said the manufacturer doesn't accept returns and we had to buy new items. I called the manufacturer myself and they were shocked I was told this. New items were then sent and even though the manager sold us the wrong things, when I told him they weren't compatible together didn't even fit the shower and he should have at least asked the dimensions, his exact words were "not my problem mate". We still had to pay a 25% restocking fee because of his lack of caring. Be cautious of the reviews here as well, I see the manager has added his own 5 star reviews on at least 2 posts.
Still the best place in Newmarket to shop for your kitchen or bathroom requirements and I'm not just saying that because I work there but I do and I should know.
I received a quote in March, confirmed the price in July, was ready to purchase the item in August only to be informed they could not honor the price because it was too long ago and the manufacturer had increased the prices. I indicated my surprise about a 30% increase in the middle of the year, especially when the pricing catalogue hadn't changed since March everything is readily available online. I requested to be contacted by the owner regarding the price discrepancy, but I'm still waiting. This has been a terribly disappointing experience when trying to support a local store. After this, I am happy to take my business elsewhere. Update: Mike, as I indicated in my email to Andrew I merely attached the quote to prove we were in on July 29. I pointed out that the items quoted we're NOT the item in question, perhaps that will assist with your confusion on this matter. I am happy to forward the email chain so you can better understand the situation. My phone number is indicated on both quotes, I have not received or missed any calls from you, nor have I received further email communication indicating you were trying to reach me. If you bothered to follow up you might have learned this was never about the cost, rather about the fact that your manager blamed the manufacturer for the increase rather than admit an error in pricing from the onset - this seems like a poor business practice. I would also suggest adding a standard line at the bottom of your quotes indicating a time limit the quote is valid for, as most other businesses do. While you certainly cannot satisfy everyone, it is a common courtesy to follow up with a customer when they specifically ask for you to do so.
Mike has put together a wonderful showroom full of mid to high end fixtures. As a contractor I no longer have to send my clients into the city to choose their fixtures. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and assist without undue pressures. We are fortunate to have a boutique like this in our area.
Amazing customer service! The staff here are super friendly and helpful. They know their products well and offer great advice to customers who are a little uncertain about aspects of their renovations. I purchased all my stuff for my renovations here and my bathroom looks stunning! Thanks Mike and team for all of your help! I'll be referring friends and family here :
DO NOT SHOP HERE. Bought a Riobel shower system worth $1200.00. I was in a hurry and I told the manager Andrew this when I went in. He said as long as I had the rough in I would be fine and the exterior parts would be follow in the next 2 days. He gave me the rough in for the valve and I asked him if this was the only thing my contractor needed before installing the tiles. He said YES. My contractor installed the rough in for the valve and we waited patiently for the exterior parts to come in. It took 2 weeks not 2 days. My contractor comes back to install the rest and he tells me that the spout required a rough in as well and that the shop should have provided that with the other rough in. Go back to the store and Andrew tells me that they won't return the spout but will sell me a new spout for $171. They accepted absolutely no responsibility for this and have very poor product knowledge. Spoke with Riobel and they told me that any open spout must have a rough in installed. They said the shop should have known this and should have told me! Andrew is very condescending and arrogant. Will never sop here again. Very disappointing for a local company to do this.
We have sent several of our clients who are looking for a one stop shop for their bathroom renovation to Ripples bathroom boutique. They have only had great experiences and always mention what a beautiful show room and vast array of products they have. They mention that it makes all the difference to see the products displayed, which is what you will find when you walk into the Ripples showroom. If you can't seem to find that perfect piece for your bathroom give Ripples a try. I truly believe that you won't be disappointed.
IGNORE THE BAD REVIEW ... AMAZING EXPERIENCE HERE !!! Ripples is a beautiful store with such knowledgeable and helpful staff! I purchased everything I needed for my bathroom renovation. The staff was so patient in helping me choose fixtures, tiles and finishes I can be picky and they made the experience much less stressful!! If you are into supporting local business and getting amazing products that can’t be found in those big box stores then you need to go check this out! Home Depot eewwwwww lol
