Harlow St Laundromat & Dry Cleaners

would be a 5 star, if not for Diane, the patronizing ageist. I frequent the Harlow street laundromat on a regular basis, and the staff (up until I met Diane tonight) has always been helpful, courteous and respectful. This particular clerk however has got a serious attitude problem. She treats anybody without an AARP membership as though they have personally insulted her with the mere fact they have some years left to live. As I expressed outrage at her insolent tone and pedantic antics, another regular patron who I see there often told me a story about how she had tried to deny her the use of the phone to report a crime of abuse and reckless neglect just outside the premises. I tried to get her days off, so I could schedule laundry around her presence, but she skirted the questions in a pretty obvious huff. I'll be making notes of days and times I see her from now on, so I know when I can do my laundry in peace.
