Hard Stones Grill

Another fantastic seafood pasta. Scallops were sublime. Mussels were yummy although today a few were unopened and a few broken shells which sucked in the food. Shrimp was good. Really good fettuccini alfredo. Both sauces were watery though and I find just TOO much bits leftover in sauce at the end of the seafood entree. Garlic bread was good. Service was not great new server and it was busy but not a big deal really.

Had a very tasty salmon dish at hard stones today. It has a nice Caliente feel to it. I'm not a huge fan of cilantro but they used the perfect amount in this dish for me. Salmon was cooked to perfection, very nice texture good golden crust fell apart in nice flakes the way I like it. Service was also very good. Would reccomend!

The food was absolutely incredible! Everything is hand made and fresh prepared made to order prepwork notwithstanding. The seafood fettuccini was spectacular and the garlic homeloaf fresh handmade daily was delicious and perfect. My companion had the burger and fries which was also Angus triple A. Even the darn salad was scrumptious! A salad!! My first time at hardstones ever but will definitely be back!! A++. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes wheelchair accessible. The only thing is their buttons didn't seem to be working.

Had breakfast here today, arrived during the busy morning rush, but well worth the 10 minute wait. Not the usual horrible coffee, and fresh baked bread! Great experience, and service. Your team took empty plates, didn’t have to rely on one server, although she was attentive too! Decor was very nice, comfortable setting. Definitely coming back!! Parking: Great parking, 20 feet from the door!

Love Hard Stones Grill! My family and I have been regular patrons since this restaurant opened in Kemptville. It has always been our go-to for breakfast. Since the pandemic, it became our takeout for everything from breakfast to lunch to dinner. All items on the menu are delicious. The Family Takeout Meals are perfect. Looking forward to another takeout Thanksgiving meal feast! The service is always prompt and friendly. Highly recommend! Update: The Thanksgiving Family Dinner was superb! Everything was carefully packaged, perfectly seasoned not too salty and delicious. There was yummy pie too! Many thanks to the Chefs at Hard Stones Kemptville! Looking forward to more of the same at Christmas. Update: Just have to give a shout-out to Katia for always excellent service. And our favourite lady Colleen, wow!, she gets every order right and it is always service with a delightful smile Easter 2023 update: Not only did we have an excellent breakfast at Hard Stones on Sunday, but we also ordered their Easter Dinner for takeout. What a delicious meal! The lamb shanks were beautifully prepared, fall-off the bone tender. The gravy was rich and flavourful. Accompanying mashed potatoes, green beans, carrots, salad and garlic bread completed the meal. Many thanks to Katia and Nick! It was just what we needed after the ice storm and three days without electricity. Cheers!

Always busy but not crowded. They do an excellent job of balancing servers and busy times. Always clean and friendly staff. Originally, it was a great place to get wings but, their wing quality seems to have slid a little. Great portions of sides and mains. Quick to refill drinks and food is served together as soon as it is ready. Showing up after a tournament with many guests, without reservations, is a favorite among local teams as they can accommodate seating, service, and kitchen. There was four of us for dinner. Two of the four meals were wrong. Asked for breaded wings and wings were not breaded. Asked for gluten free nacho fries no onion. Could not eat as onion was everywhere and the fries were stuck to the paper. $110 no discounts or removal of incorrect meals. Was offered replacement meals but none of the options were gluten free. Drove an hour for dinner as it was recommended to us. Highly disappointed.

We arrived just before 11 and nori Ed the restaurant was busy. We were sat right away. We mentioned to our waitress that we had to leave by noon to make an appointment. We said it looked busy would they be able to accommodate that? She checked with the kitchen and said it would be no problem and took our orders right away. We paid early so we could just leave. The kids meals arrived at 11:55 and the adults at 12:05. We just asked for everything to go. We barely made our appointment right on time but only got a few bites of food. I was not impressed as other people who arrived after had received their food. I. Their defence they were a group of 2 and we were a group of 6.

We went for dinner on Friday and had the best experience! Our waiter Jason was amazing - so quick and helpful with wonderful knowledge on the menu! He sold us on the special which was a rib plate and it was to die for! Fall off the bone ribs with many little delicious sides the Mac and cheese you would think is so simple but it was SO good we had the bruchetta to start and it was by far the best we've ever had. We both decided we had a new favorite restaurant! Thank you Hardstones and thank you Jason!!

Great service. We made a reservation and forgot to say we did not like booths. They fixed it immediately. The food was amazing and the service fast and efficient. Great job everyone.Food: 5/5
