Harbour Insurance Svc

I liked the insurance and would have given five stars but, due to an change in how they base their insurance my insurance doubled. So I regretfully had to cancel and go elsewhere. They said they were working on it. So if it's your price range or are comfortable with the payment they give you then I would recommend them.

With no notice they jacked my sail boat insurance rates by 40% When I was invoiced with no notice even though they had my credit info on file they asked for payment. Life is life I was busy so after 2 months when the boat isn’t even in the water they cancelled my insurance with no warning just a registered letter When I called to see what was going on they told me I owed them 90$ and that’s why they cancelled my policy even though for years I would prepay the whole year up front Very rude person in the phone also told me if I didn’t pay ASAP they would send 90$ to collections My priority is finding another company not paying 90$ to them Horrible customer service and I don’t get they had my visa on file they didn’t bill it. End of the day I was told insurance went up everywhere and that’s why my 300$ a year policy jumped to 580$ BS extortion At least they stay true to their word as not even a month later I am getting called by a collection agency over 90$ Shop around and go else where not worth the hassle and aggravation

Wonderful experience with Charlene when I bought a bike and insured it. We were laughing and joking the whole time and she gaves me different quotes and comparisons with no hesitation when asked. Great place, great service.

It has been 1 year since i started a claim with this insurance company. They hired a company by the name of crawford to go through the claims process. The insurance company is based in the UK so everything is subcontracted out. It took crawford 1 year to obtain the police report. I still dont know what the next steps are to my claim. Dont waste your time and choose a canadian marine insurer.
