Harbor Lights Resort

We spent four nights here.nThey people were friendly and accommodating.nWe stayed in a mini suite that was sufficient since all we really did there was sleep.nIf you stay in 26A plan on living out of your suitcase since there was no chest of drawers in this room. The window blinds could have been six inches wider to completely cover the window. Anyone walking on the second floor walk way could easily see most of the bed day or night. We used a towel to remedy that.nNo elevators so plan on packing lightly because those stairs get old after a while.nAll in all it was a decent place to stay. Would recommend it to a “young” friend who wouldn’t mind the stairs.

Staff was very friendly! Room, pool and hot tub were clean. Great donuts in the morning. On the water and walking distance to town. We would definitely stay there again.

Do NOT come here the week before Memorial Day. They spent the entire time doing maintenance. Moving sand on the beach all day with beeping trucks and replacing all the windows. A lot of the retail and restaurants are not open. Definitely just a Memorial to Labor Day city don’t waste your money

I had booked a mini suite with a lake view and when we arrived she told us the carpet in our room was being cleaned so we got an upgrade to a 2 bedroom condo with a lake view instead for the same price. The condo was beautiful and well appointed, but the view was really disappointing. The view was not so much of the lake but rather the parking lot for the public beach. A steady stream of trucks and cars drove through constantly, pretty much ruining the view of the water. I did a lot of research trying to find a nice waterfront place with a beautiful view. Our dog just died and we were looking for peace and quiet with an unobstructed view. Disappointed.

Have been coming here every summer with my family the last 4 years, will continue to come here. Harbor Lights does an amazing job, 5 stars all around... the only thing i wish they had was a gym, but there is a gym right down the road that is also accommodating! This is my favorite place to stay, the views, the cleanliness, the beach is amazing, wish i could stay all summer here!
