This was more of an 4.5 stars experience. Beautiful location right on the water. Reserved this place for a bday celebration. Parking is a little tight but they do offer valet parking. Service was great. Very attentive. Gratuity was included in the bill. We tried a few items off their menu for appetizers. All were very delicious. For main meals we tried salmon dish, seafood risotto, fish and chips, fresh lobster, lobster roll. Overall very good but a few items to improve on. Lobster roll needed either a little butter or some sauce to bring it together. Seafood risotto clams were a little chewy. Everything else tasted great. We will definitely come back if we get a chance.
You just have to see past the dates carpet, and some of the 1990s decor, and you will have a wonderful dining experience. The views from the tables are stunning, the service is superb, and these folks have great cooking skills. Our food was delightful. The waiter was great, I loved the fact that he waited for all of us to finish before cleaning the table. A really lovely relaxed dining experience. And we will definitely want back. 100% satisfaction.
Stopped by for dinner while we were in Stamford. It was a nice place with very good food. The drinks were a little too sweet but the food and dessert made it all up!
1. Called and asked if they allow dogs, was told yes. Arrived and was told that they only allow dogs at last table outside because dogs make noise - confirmed by owner. 2. Hair in calamari and greek salad was tiny/ not fresh, for a Greek place a huge disappointment 3. Ordered wine, was forgotten. Water guy was great though and the views are nice so I'd recommend this place only for drinks and get ice cream down the road for desert
A must try restaurant for all seafood lovers! I take friends and family here whenever they visit and it’s always a hit! Best lobster rolls in CT with beautiful views!Recommended dishesFish and Chips, Smoked Salmon Club, Lobster Roll
Amazing place, food and service was great, nice indoor and outdoor seating areas. Parking lot is small and fills up fast, but nice valet service. Call ahead if possible to reserve seats on special occasions, we got lucky to be seated right on the water.
I have had multiple fantastic experiences at Harbor Lights as well as fond memories this summer. However, I dined there this past weekend and received bread with cottony BLACK MOLD on it. It was the most disgusting thing I have EVER seen at a restaurant. I’m not sure how it made it past their quality check, but the servers had passed out the bread baskets to multiple tables at the same time. Upon informing the server of the black mold, they quickly took it back and brought us new bread. However, it’s concerning that they did not take away neighboring tables’ bread baskets which were passed out at the same time as ours and were likely just as contaminated. The rest of the food was delicious as usual but this certainly left a bit of a gross taste in our mouths. For what it’s worth, nothing was taken off the bill for this mishap, and nothing additional was provided for the inconvenience. I wish I had taken pictures before alerting the server, but believe me, this was not a small speck of black mold..it was across the entire piece of bread and 3 dimensional.
Food was great but the view.....was absolutely stunning. If you go at the right time you'll be able to watch the sky turn completely gold and wat h the sun set. Happily surprised to see that.Food: 5/5
6 of us reserved here for July 4th covid era and we were not disappointed! The view was wonderful, the dishes delicious and service very friendly and professional. Our server Neil was patient and so helpful. Most of our party had the surf and turf special and loved it. My salmon was excellent and the poached pear and Gorgonzola appetizer was perfect.
This restaurant is quintessential Northeastern! The amount of seafood options were incredible, especially the swordfish steak. The ambience was really warm, and our waitress was just so attentive and enjoyable to have with us. Definitely a gem in Norwalk.
