Best green tea with salted cheese in the world! Best package for a drink like this! The cream should always be separately packed up for a take-out! To me, the way you package it and the taste make you the best tea shop in Taiwan, but It’s such a shame that you closed all branches there though. Now I have to travel aboard to enjoy it.
We got the salted egg yolk bubble waffle and the black sesame & chocolate bubble waffle. They were really good but the filling is super inconsistent; you find some bites that are really tasty and some bites that are extremely boring. **edit: I previously gave this 3* but I’d like to redo my review. I went back and retried the salted egg yolk bubble waffle and it was phenomenal. Highly recommend if you like salted duck eggs!
Really great bubble tea with lots of options, located on Robson so always a nice treat after going to dinner, plus I reccommend trying a bubble waffle from them as well, not too sweet and plenty of flavours to choose from.
The bubble tea place is super clean and the staff there were amazing in tailoring my drink to my taste. It has a LOT of options that do not contain milk or cheese. Mango passion fruit tea is my favorite! Definitely will come back often.
Very cute themed bubble tea shop. Got a hot classic pearl milk tea to keep warm in the rain on a walk around the city centre. The service was quick and friendly. The menu has classic drinks that are adored along with toppings, as well as a lemon series specialty to go along with the theme of the shop. Will be stopping by again to grab a waffle and drink soon!
My favourite combo at Happy Lemon is Lemon Pineapple Green Tea with Pearls & Original Bubble Waffle. The pearls are chewy and the pineapple bits add a sweet texture to this refreshing drink. The bubble waffle comes in a cute paper wrapper, the outside of the waffle is crisp and the inside is soft. The taste is okay, I find the price $4.80 a bit too expensive but it is a good fix whenever I crave some bubble waffles. Bubble waffle takes 10 - 15 minutes to make, recommend to order through Ritual to save on wait time at the store and earn Ritual points.
Love their strawberry shortcake with taroballs and brown sugar pearl milk tea. Boba is soft and chewy always, been here almost every week! haha Best paired with their AMAZING bubble waffle- my fave is original and chocolate! All their staff are friendly and nice and also the fastest service you can get in Vancouver. 5/5 reco to friends and family. Very low quality, had ordered the purple yam boba drink. The boba was hard as a rock. The flavours didn't stand out either.
Wanna try the bubble waffle today. It's just $4.50- so I get an original flavour at 4pm today when only 2 other customers got a drink. The waffle was warm and left the shop. I took a bite but it tasted uncooked in the center.... So I torn off the puff and found the center in different colour. So it's not cooked....
Happy Lemon is my childhood and I’m so happy to see it in Canada!! Staff was super friendly and we had a great time! Oreo puffFood: 4/5
