Amazing Chinese food not bad prices. It’s too bad they never pick up the phone. If you place an order on Skip the dishes it will never confirm and you will have to cancel. The hours are not accurate they are open when ever they want to be. I’ve found the are usually only open Friday or Saturday. Updated your hours until then you have lost my business. Terrible management and customer relationship but great food.
Not sure why I have a current flyer that says they're open until 10 on a Saturday, but I call at 830 and they tell me they are just locking up. That's super disappointing
Saturday dinner, needed something quick and easy, we got the buffet and pot of tea. This is Canadian Chinese food style, beef broccoli was our favorite along with the won ton soup. Kids very happy with dessert. The owner was friendly, she looked after us as if we were part of the family. They had lots of takeout going on, next time we will try ordering entrees separately.
It was very expensive for the amount of food we got And it wasn't that great. Honey garlic ribs were cheap breaded and clearly from frozen . Egg rolls tasted freezer burnt Chicken in the kung pow chicken was an very odd texture and a bit slimy. Onion cakes were hard almost stale like. Was very disappointed spending $90 for the poor quality and amount of food
We ordered chicken fried rice, chow mein , special chop suey ,honey garlic pork, sweet sour chicken and wonton soup. It was so so good every bite full of flavor. The portions were so good we have lots of leftovers. Thank you Happy Kitchen your delicious food hit the spot and cured my craving. We will definitely be back!
I truly hope this restaurant gets it together soon. Obviously a steep learning curve is in progress. I have eaten here twice now - once for take out and once for the buffet. The food is your standard "Canadianized Chinese" but was hot and fresh both times. The service however.... the staff was friendly when you could flag them down, but over-all, not so great. Our table of 8 was served water and then never approached by a server again - it was clearly expected that we would have the buffet, but we were not even offered an option, or beverages. The price I was quoted for the buffet when I made reservations was $3 less than what I was actually charged, and when it's cash only on a large group, that can make a difference. Also.... not a great idea to set up a large, crowded table so that some of the chairs are literally backing onto the stairs! All that said, I'll give them a chance to get it together and then give it another try, because we do sorely need some decent, good ol' Canadianized Chinese food in this town!
Cash only because there debit down so we had to do an etransfer, odd but no big deal. After a 2 hour wait, we called back to find our order wasn't even started yet, and it'd be here in 15 minutes. Then we ended up not getting the right items, and when the order got fixed the food we did get was hardly even passable as Chinese food... Rock hard chicken balls, soupy soft chown mein goop that's supposed to be noodles with zero flavor and sweet n sour pork that is worse than frozen Wal-Mart meals and was clearly pulled off the buffet tray. Never calling these guys again, total waste of money.
Best Chinese food in Fort Saskatchewan hands down! And the people managing it along with their staff are phenomenal! Always a pleasure picking up or eating in there! Above standard for sure! Must try it!
The food here is the best we've had in the Fort as far as chinese food goes. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Went for buffet on Valentine's Day but no buffet so we got a discount on our food! Ty so much for having us! We'll be back!
