Incredible sushi, sashimi and spicy miso ramen. The Hawaiian Yellowtail was unlike any I've ever had. The people running it are beyond accommodating. In the world of all things Japanese, you get what you pay for, it's not cheap but you're getting top quality ingredients and extremely fresh fish. 10/10 Recommend to all Japanese food lovers! Parking: Lots of parking behind the restaurant!
This place is amazing. I had the spicy tuna bowl and it was the most flavourful sushi bowl I’ve ever had. Tuna was savoury and tender, daikon was crispy and fresh, ginger doesn’t taste like preservatives,the green onions mix added so much flavour, everything was GOOD. So rare to have a restaurant taste this good, have good portions, and be affordable. They also catered to gluten free options that did not reduce the quality of the food. First time there and I’m sold, one of my new favourite restaurants. I will probably not go to any other Japanese restaurant. 10 stars.
The owner/chef is serious and passionate in making high quality food. You will know once you take the first bite. I have been coming here since its opening. No nonsense, high quality sushi. My husband gave it extra bonus points for having wild salmon on the menu. It is the only Japanese restaurant that we've known of with that on their menu. The owner and staff are very nice and accommodating. We only come here for sushi now. So pleased for this hidden gem in Dundas. Will try their ramen next!
Such a great hidden gem in the heart of downtown Dundas. They just opened in April but quickly won our hearts over! We swing by for lunch/dinner every chance we get! The folks are also so incredibly nice! Fish is always so fresh and delicious. We love Hanma!

My god, you have to try Hanma if you like sushi. Their roles are inventive and fresh. The owners are super lovely people, too. They now have ramen on special occasions, but unfortunately not accommodating to vegetarians at this point.
Soooooooooo yummy. Best quality fish I've had in the whole city. Sashimi bowls have generous quantities of fish, pretty and fresh tasting toppings and tasty rice. Onigiri are hefty and delicious as well. And to top it all off everything is at such reasonable prices as well.
Had an awesome experience while trying their Dundas roll and albacore tuna bowl. Lots of flavors for their bowls and sushi. Their menu is small and simple which is good. I will definitely be going back to get take out sushi on my free time!

Every time I have eaten from Hanma has been fantastic! The freshness and quality are a rare find. Each time I have gone I’ve tried a different menu item and have enjoyed each one. I recommend anyone looking for top quality Japanese food and sushi to give Hanma a try.
