My first time at Hangry Piri Piri Chicken and was pleasantly surprised. The couple running the restaurant are so kind and attentive to detail. The food itself was very fresh, prepared in good time, and very generous portion wise. I had enough for another meal. I had a rice bowl with the pulled chicken and extra Piri Piri sauce - fabulous! I also had a custard tart that was outstanding - flaky pastry and great filling. I will definitely be back if I’m in the area and I hope they open a location in Fort Erie area.
From the moment our family walked through the door, Jennifer and her team were SO helpful to newbies! They explained their incredible menu, let us taste a couple of their tasty sauces before we ordered then made INCREDIBLE food. The full chicken was moist and delicious. The vegetables crisp and hot. The salad was fresh with a tasty vinaigrette dressing and the potatoes were WOW!!!! They even were able to easily accommodate a special request! There were six of us and we tried a wide variety of things including the sandwiches - EVERYONE was happy!!!!
Tried it for the first time recently, loved the food and will definitely be back! Tried their pulled chicken tacos, honey hot chicken sandwich and poutine. Honestly, all three dishes had great flavor. No greasiness, nice and hot when they came out. Worth a try!Food: 5/5
Avoid this place at all costs, used to be a regular customer but it’s not the Hangry Chicken it used to be with the good reviews, new management possibly? Potatoes were burnt to the crisp as seen in the attached picture, rice overcooked and soggy, a whole chicken that has shrunk in size considerably. Another great place that’s been ruined.
Amazing costumer service! Great food! Fast orders! And excellent location! My friends and I always come here during lunch from school for a delicious meal. Great place highly recommend!Food: 5/5
11/10. I was not expecting hands down the best chicken I have ever tasted here. But there you go. I've been to Michelin star restaurants that have but the merest fraction of the ability to cook chicken that this little shop has. I would recommend this to anyone who likes chicken. If this chicken were a woman, I would marry it. Vegetarian options: Has quite a few solid vegetarian options with the option to add chicken for those looking to limit the amount of bread in their diet. Dietary restrictions: Has multiple good options for vegetarians. Parking: In a huge strip mall. If you can't find a spot, you're the problem Kid-friendliness: Nobody was drinking or doing heroin in the store so that was a plus. Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is ground level so no need for a ramp.
A friend of mine got me a power bowl after seeing my terrible experience with a previous power bowl from a different place, I was in complete shock when I see all the goodness in this bowl!! And the serving size is huge.. I’ll definitely get 2 maybe 3 meals out of this! It was so good and all my coworkers at the hospital were asking where I got it. I posted a brochure in the staff room ; Thank you for an amazing power bowl experience! I will definitely recommend.
Chicken tenders were a little dry and you only get 5 pieces, but the sandwich was great!Food: 4/5
Chicken could of had more flavour and could have been a better size. But overall the food was good and so was the portion size. Also Supervisor was nice but also difficult at the same time never encountered such a person before. I would say if your ordering a bogo meal asking for sauce on the side for 1 of them shouldn't really be a problem and if it is then just put both on the side
Amazing customer service and best piri piri chicken I had in Ontario. Delicious! I went there with my wife on Friday, we had the chicken, then ordered the same on Saturday. So good!Food: 5/5
