I am always looking for new places for myself and my partner to go to whenever we spend the day together. This place did not disappoint! They have a vast drink selection of coffees, teas, and even alcohol. But their gaming selection is bound to bring out the child in ANYONE who comes here. For only $12 each we got unlimited use of all the games they have in house. They even have free board and card games for folks. It was a great afternoon here and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. I got one of the energizing teas while my partner enjoyed her coffee flight. We both were very happy with our selections. I’d recommend this place for all ages truthfully and hope you all enjoy it as much as I did!
Hangout MKE Cafe & Lounge LOCATION = 1 - Right on the east side of downtown, next door to a super pizza joint. Inside the restaurant is clean, lots of room for seating, and unbelievably unique game set up. SERVICE = 1 - The service was fast. The baristas were also very sweet! COFFEE = 1 - Coffee was adequate. PRICE = 1 - Price for the coffee and food is good. Here’s where I’m conflicted though. I’m order to play the big games like ping pong, pool, life size soccer, anything run really you’re required to pay $12 a person. We’ll we were there for a little date night on a Friday, and there were maybe two people using the area. $$24 to play some games for an hour seems very high. We didn’t pay for that, we just ended up playing UNO and guess who which was still fun! If I could give a half star here I would, but I can’t, so I still give a full star. I believe if they made that area $5 a person, they would make SO much more money due to the amount of people willing to pay That’s the Sam Walton method. EXPERIENCE = 1 - If you’re willing to pay the extra price to get the big games - one of the coolest places in the city!! Overall Thoughts - 4 1/2 ’s! But I’ll round up because we did have such a great experience :
This place was pretty dead in the afternoon so, I don't know if it's because it is so new and not a lot of people know about it yet, but it is pretty awesome! A very clean environment and a super friendly staff, they provide a lot of different entertainment for your little ones. They have cards at the tables so the idea of hanging out and hanging up is a real thing here. This is a good family joint that would be fun for any birthday party or just a few hours to get away from the house. They do have a game pass for the big equipment items here such as giant dice and pool table and things like that. See the pictures below to capture the environment. And do not fret adults! They have chocolate alcoholic beverages! When I come back here, when I am kid free. But it was a great first-time experience for me and my niece and nephew. Make this a local Legacy for this place. They put a lot of time and energy into it.
What a cool place! Great spot to hang out with friends especially on a rainy day. They have a huge selection of drinks. Very laid back atmosphere. We got the "premium game pass" which is $6/hr and played a ton of games including giant operation which was a blast. They also have a great variety of free games you can play when you purchase a drink/food item. Overall a fun, unique place. Totally recommend and would be a good first date spot.
My first time being here was absolutely awesome! We were invited to an open mic night on February 28, 2020, Friday. Let me just say, the honey latte, hot chocolate, and coffee were all delicious. The co-owner Becca was super friendly, helpful and cool! The free games provided were: Nintendo, giant Jenga, board games, and an 8 player Foozeball all made for an amazing time. The games you pay for by the hour, $6 an hour, is very reasonable considering all the neat and incredibly things you get to pick from: life size operation, ping pong, giant Yatzee, basketball, shuffleboard, pool table and life size kick ball pool just to name a few. Who thinks of this creative stuff? It's simple and hands on. It requires human interaction instead of being on your phones, tablets and laptops. If you are looking for something to do, I'd highly recommend checking this place out!

This is a truly unique place and one I cannot wait to come back to. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. It’s perfect to connect with friends without having to compete with loud noises or music. There are so many games to pick from, there’s no shortage of fun. The giant, eight-player foosball game was my favorite. I had a peanut butter mocha and it was fantastic. Such a great experience!
Fun place with a group of friends! Love their drink and snack options, hey good!
