Handy Self Storage

This place is horrible. They broke into my unit stole my items and they don't even know about it. To me, it does look like an inside job since l have been using this place since quite some time. The owner is an arrogant person and the workers hate their lives. It may seem a bit affordable before the special runs out and then they bumped up to the highest price. They close at 7.00pm and they just brought cameras to the entries. There are plenty of better storage places out there, safer and 24h.

I had a storage unit at this location and the reason why I got the unit was that I was in transition on moving and I didn't want my music instrument stolen. I had property there for about 3 months. One day I went to store some tools I was using that week. I walked up to my unit open the lock and my Electric Guitar Fender Stat., a Fender Amp., a priceless Violin that I custom made myself. All my musical I instrument were stolen. A life time of learning and instruments I use gone and can't be replaced. No sign of drake in, and the management say there not responsible for theft in the storage facility. I called the police and we all know how hard they work. Has anyone seen a violin or a Fender Guitar around the area. To me it looks like a inside job. Any comment or answer would be greatly appreciated.

Horribly unprofessional. They treat you like an inconvenience, if they even acknowledge you. They open and close whenever they want. The guy at the front uses the RV storage area as his personal band practice arena which is probably why there’s never anybody available in the office for assistance. They don’t honor their word. If I could give it negative stars I would. Don’t waste your time and just pay the extra at another storage facility. You’ll regret signing up for this dilapidated place.

Omg! Do not go here! The customer service is horrible! The guy at desk won't let you speak to "Barbara" since she is the only one in corporate and handles accounting. Since George left they have hiked up the fees, they are screwing me over by not accepting any payments from me. Barbara is a crook and she has poor customer service skills. I hope karma bites her in the ads so bad because she deserves it. Knowing I'm homeless and am trying to get more work and stability she can care less. She is a thief! An ugly mean woman who doesn't have any compassion toward others. Shame on you Barbara.

Talk about unprofessionalism. They open and close whenever the hell they want. And they take their sweet *** time to fix things, like their elevator! Every time I went to try and get into my unit, the elevator was broken. For months it was broken!!!! Than they still felt they had the right to keep charging me when I couldn't even get into my storage to move out and move in things. Pay the extra $20 bucks and go somewhere else. You will thank me later.

Horrible!! This place raises the price every 3-4 months and then refuses to pro rate for moving out early. I physically came to the office and inquired if they needed notice prior to me vacating the unit. I was told no notice was needed. 2 weeks later I moved out a Saturday, in the middle of the month because the monthly cost was going up again - twice since the beginning of the year. Not only did the guy - Christian not pro-rate me, he told me to call back on Monday. The person who answered stated I should have been pro-rated and issued a refund. the manager refused stating no refunds. Then I told a 30 day notice is needed before vacating the unit. ALL THIEVES!!

Great place if your looking for storage in Los Angeles on a budget. A small space is under a hundo. Staff is pretty friendly. It is what it is but I have held my unit for 2 year and some change. They have been amazing!!!!!

My storage unit was burglarized and nothing was done about it. Valuable things were taken that I can't ever get back. What's the purpose of surveillance cameras when they won't use them to check on an incident as burglary.

I called in advance to arrange storage for my mother. She walked in same day and they helped her get the right size unit at the right price. Ask for George, he'll take care of you! :-

Horrible service! Called and they couldn’t have been more rude and useless. Not wasting my time going in.
