Handle Bar Saloon

Last night Saturday my wife and I decided to go out for dinner and a drink. We wanted to go out to a bar that had a jukebox and a dart board so we could listen to music and shoot darts while waited for our food. We decided to go to NanSea's First/Last Stop. Formerly: Handlebar & Grill in Sheboygan Wisconsin. We have not been there for a few years, so we thought that we would check it out. We went to the bar and ordered two mixed drinks and then placed our dinner order. I noticed that Family Feud was on TV very softly and no music was currently playing. One of my pet peeves is walking into a bar and they have the news or a tv show on. I like music in a bar. We took our drinks back to the table next to the dart board. We noticed that both of our drinks were not made correctly and they did not taste like they should. We thought maybe the bartender was new and she didn't know what she was doing. Oh, well. I noticed that the jukebox was plugged and working with the attract screen on and flashing so we decided to feed the Jukebox and play some songs. I took about 10 minutes to look though the song listings carefully and make my selections. I choose about 8 songs or so. When the music started to play, we began to play darts. After the first couple of songs played the bartender approached us and asked me if I played the songs on the jukebox. I said yes. She said that they can't play music in the bar during the dinner hour and that she would have to cancle all of my songs and give me my money back. I said ok. I thought to myself "Is this a bar or a library?" So I watched her go over to the jukebox and cancel all of my songs but she still left it plugged in and turned on. If I wanted to have quiet night, I would have stayed home and watched Family Feud, not go out to a bar and watch it. What kind of a bar frowns on you spending money at their establishment and playing music on a Saturday night? That was totally unacceptable in my opinion. Yes, I got my money back for the music, but they gave me back exactly how much I spent for music and not a dollar more. They could have bought us a couple of drinks or have been a little more apologetic and hospitable. It was just plain stupid. This is not a fancy restaurant, or a library or a rest home. It's a fricken BAR on a Saturday night that has to have a "quiet dinner hour?" It was ridiculous. How about unplug the jukebox to avoid further confusion. Needless to say with sketchy drinks and dinner time in a nursing home environment, we will not be back. A word to the wise: Never mess with my music.

It's now NanSeas. Fun quirky place! Nice set up outside. Eating on the patio. Plenty of room!

Good food, enjoyable atmosphere.

The food is awesome! I would recommend everything off the menu because everything is soooo good! Friendly, fast service. Good drinks. Highly recommended this place. The hubby and I come here frequently, we love it.

Great bar! Awesome food, fantastic bartender! Will definitely come back here when I can spend more time. A friend and I recently stopped in on a week day afternoon for a late lunch. Aside from being on Harleys and having to transverse the road construction in front of the bar, the trip was worthwhile. The bartender was welcoming and our drinks were great as was the food we ordered. The bar was huge with lots of stools, horseshoe shaped with flatscreens above. We had no time to shoot pool, but there were 4, yes 4!, tables available with adequate space to play comfortably. Dart board and supplies available. Several video poker type machines. I didn't venture outside, but there were horseshoe pits visible, plus a patio/smoking area. I will venture back here again and recommend this place to everyone!

We love going here for a late night drink with a few friends! The food is great bar food! And the servers are pleasant almost always! We have a favorite but I dont want to butcher her name ny spelling it incorrectly

We were there with a few people and we all ordered a fishfy. It was terrible. The fish had a very odd taste and did not sit well with a number of people in our group. It appear that the quality had gone down.

Clean, fun tavern!! Food is great and if you don't want to sit on a barstool all day they have air hockey a pool table a bowling machine that changes to other games..darts..etc. Also slot machines!! Enclosed smoking area as well as an outsidedeck if you want to enjoy the sun!! Our bartender Kara was very friendly!! Had a great lunch and a fun time with friends!! We WILL be back!!

Great place to hang out with friends. Food is excellent. Drinks are reasonably priced. Bartender was very knowledgeable and knew the right way to make a martini!

The name has changed so dont let the directions confuse you. A cool place to check out the mixed drink Walk The Plank it has 4 different rums w a splash of pineapple juice. And 4 of the lical brewed beers
