Beautiful location right on the river. Very well maintained sites. My only complaint is that some of the fire pits have high metal rings around them making it hard to stoke the fire (have to do it from above because the rim is so high), hard to get heat (the wall blocks the heat radiating out), and possibly oxygen starve the flame.

Good campground. Nice sites, although we were very lucky to get a site near the water, as the other sites were all just surrounded by other sites and there wasn't much privacy. There are hole-in-the-ground bathrooms here, NO SHOWERS just so you know. Get there Friday night if you want a site, there are no reservations and it fills up fast if it's going to be a nice weekend.
